It's not that long compared to chapter 2 but it has a shitload of variables/branchings, that's why it's so complex for a modder.

Also my coding fucking sucks so it's probably a bitch to work through compared to other games where people know what they're doing, so that might means it takes longer

Payback is a reference to these lines leading up to the scenes.
mc "Well, I was thinking I could maybe pay you back for that help you gave me with my frat challenge ..."
lucy "Oh?"
lucy "And what kind of payback might I be getting?"
So it's referential mostly to getting the nude from her, which is why it's a key variable. But also if you win the beer pong against her it works as a double.
it gets me that you guys are blind to me saying "not throwing shade". I know this takes a fuckload of time. for once, I wanted to be the guy who makes a joke about it taking so long since I normally defend the modders

I truly admire your work. Your code is very neat and to the point. I can't even imagine the amount of work it must have taken you to take into account that immense number of variables. Programming 10,000 lines of code plus all the images, animations, and sounds. And taking into account all the decisions made in the first two chapters. Impressive.
It's taking me a little longer because this game deserves a well-developed and tested Mod. Plus, I have to play through the first two chapters again, and I'm tempted to replay them properly since I really enjoyed them the first time.

I don't know what today means for you. In my country, it's 11:00 PM and I'm going to sleep. Ch.3 is halfway through testing, so tomorrow, if the tests continue well, it could be available.

in script.rpy, when benji asks to hang out, you made the suggested option to NOT hang out with him. can i ask why? we don't skip anything if we choose to hang out
