Help me, does anyone know how to fix this ? i can not play any Notes Of Hearts games
Went to play it again and also got that. Don't know if you still need the info but just in case and for anyone else looking to play it again, but seems like it breaks from their online connection stuff from what i can tell. Managed to get it to work by installing while disconnected from the internet (though might not be required idk) then blocking the exe in the outbound firewall after the fact. Guess their scripting didn't take into account their site no longer existing or something idk, but it runs and got it to start a new game at least.
Nooo since I posted this the game was still available to play and their website was briefly up. How does one fix the error? T-T
Looking back at this I found "We are working towards finish the game before end of 2022, Notes of Hearts full sfw version will be released on Steam 2022 winter and nsfw add-ons will be distributed in other ways". Now I am sad we never got this T-T
Every time you load up the game, you have to turn the Wi-Fi off; otherwise, it will give you that error.
I guess we will never have this game since the website is gone

What makes me angry is there was another version of the game on the Patreon discord which most likely is not accessible now.

Someone else said in their discord of 1/30/25, which seems to be public now states "Production had stopped for NoH due to budget and people from the original team moving to different projects. Currently Kul is focused on Flaming Flagon. I think he said he isn't against revisiting NoH but currently FF is his focus"

Like i said in the post, just block it in the firewall and you don't need to disconnect from network every time anymore. As for the discord one if you are talking about the post from 2023 which is the last one from what i can tell, it's on kemono and the one im running now.
Even if it is installed, it will not be possible to run it because there are no servers to access the game. What could be done with that file would be to extract all the content, whether images, etc.

It's less no internet access than just making the game think there isn't a connection really. I think what's confusing the game is it was set up to look for updates on their site but they never really planned for if the site was gone and someone wanted to play it, so when it finds the site but no functioning response or something it just says nope and locks it till restart. It would probably be an easy fix of just deleting a line or two of code and repacking it, but not really worth the effort when a checkbox does it just as well.
Does anyone have a full gallery save file of the Patreon Discord Version of Notes Hearts (Version 3.0.1 - Content Version: 3.22.24.238)? And what is the solution of the puzzle in the old orphanage in Chapter 2 of Notes of Hearts?
