I'm going to make this rather simple and attach a poll for convenient contribution. Skip to Orange For the tldr!
Small backstory for those interested.
I'm doing a bit of research in what people actually like from H-Games and specifically what portions of H-Games are products of fan adoration and what are products of industry norm or devs adding fluff they thing people like (Or just inserting their own fetishes). Example being I hear everyone and their "LandLady" complaining about grindy mechanics and poor writing. Yet both feature often in these games even in the good ones!
Game mechanics aren't the scope of this post though, this is more about the kinks, fetishes and even philias that appear in these games. Some so extreme its questionable if its even legal!
My Main question is How kinky or fucked up does a game have to be for most people to be worth playing?
Of course kinks are from person to person, subjective as it gets. However many of the most popular and often the highest quality games involve some form of NTR tag activity (IE. Mindbreaking, Grapes, Manipulation, Slavery). The list goes on and on and on. However its difficult to tell if its the quality of the game Vs the kinks at play that draw people to them or create loyal followings. In the end the answer is likely more complex then a simple answer, but I'd like to hear what others think.
How kinky must a good game be?
