This is my assumption about Jake.
MC "dominates" on his friend, Jake is practically jobless, lives alone, doesn't have a girlfriend, and MC can send a GF on vacation with a free pass, while fucking a girl from a party. Jake can get jealous of this and do it out of spite!

Well the whole free pass thing is actualy Netorase, since both agreed on it, it normal they end doing stuff with other people, I hope that is what ya mean, if ya mean netorare then the whole free pass is kinda lame, if she just going sleep with other guys and never tell her husband about.
