From one programmer to another there are 6 minor changes that you can make to make the game play far more appealing:
1- zoom out by 10% and put your character as the center of the screen - don't shy away from black edges, this is normal in this style of gaming
2- put the city map as a zoom out map and remove the walking to make it point and click, you might think this is too much work but your
programming is already designed to handle this as when you click on the objects slightly out of frame like the Home when you are outside
of the corp your character follows the correct order
3- make the action areas bigger (i think it's called Hit Box or Click Box In Unity - Not sure) make the wall and the roof of the buildings outside and the walls that contain the doors or even better remove all walls and make the target the floor of the room you want to go to
4- make the Hit Box of the characters bigger
5- at work don't make the computer and the door the target, give the character a think bubble to with the available options :
Work - gives you 30 $
Work Extra - Is shown after work time to get 60 $
Spy - to pick your nose i think
Leave Office (
Not go home this usually means that you teleport home in game design)
6- also one of the work actions are clicked show the passage of time by a running clock in the middle of the monitor to show that the player dose not need to click rapidly to pass time !
