Oh that is actually a fair point. I can agree the writting and build-up in that one and some other new ones is terrible, but I don't think that makes the games less NTR? just poorly written NTR if anything. Unless you associate NTR to not only the woman being stolen but it happening progressively and developed in a believable way, which I guess I just don't see it that way. What I'm saying is I don't think he turned vanilla because his writting got sloppy, I still think it is NTR nonetheless.

To me, sometimes it is interesting when the female is just ready to throw herself at someone else's arms immediately cause she is that desperate to cheat on the husband, but I can see how that can get old very fast and some people might not like it. Again, still NTR in my book.

I can agree with his newer works not being that good with The Lust Voyage being the worst of all of them and the only thing they have going for them is the art and animation. But I never really found much buildup or tension in his older works either not as bad now but still.


I mean I agree if talking about the artwork and animation NTRman is up there. But in terms of story and characters he's mid tier at best.

I would disagree if we were looking at this older comix. Or his original Milf x Shota games. I very much liked the writing then.

Maybe I'm missing something very obvious as I'm very new to this, but I really don't think it deserves that much hate, I don't think giving their games a not-NTR route means they are deviating too much from the NTR genre as long as the NTR routes are good.

Yeah but they're not exacly good that's the point, people don't REALLY mind non-NTR scenes as long as there's not that many of them and the part that is NTR is actually good, like the Winter chapter of SoL, but when you get a game like Arrival of the Goddess, where the NTR is borderline trash and 70% of the scenes have nothing to even do with NTR, or The Voyage, which was pure NTR but the NTR was ACTUALLY trash from start to finish then yes, people are gonna start calling you VANILLAman sooner or later, especially since they KNOW that you can make so much better games because you made Adelaide Inn, The Rural Homecoming 1-2 and Mother's Lesson.

I think great NTR is very emotionally difficult to write.
Writing NTR or making an NTR game is essentially an act of destruction against the male protagonist and it's not easy to detach yourself fully from a character that you created. Even if that character was only created to suffer.

That's why devs will often include non NTR routes in multi route NTR games.

Just playing an NTR game where you care about the male protagonist can be regarded as harming the soul.
It's even worse if you're the one that created the male protagonist and spent who knows how long creating the game.

That's why I believe that most game creators only really have one great work of NTR in them. Creating more is just too emotionally taxing. Far easier to transition to soft NTR (cuckold, Netorase, female protagonist) or Netori.
