No but then again if I read ntr fan content from a story that I love and the characters start to cheat, usually they depart so much from their actual personalities I kind of see it as just an oc story without link to the original work. A "what if" of a story that is already fictional in a way, giving me even more distance to their action, and letting me enjoy the corruption/ntr.
But maybe this explains why people rage so much against ntr
Funnily enough, Dark Hero Party is almost more known with people hating ntr as the ultimate example of what ntr is (which is false), than in places containing ntr fans like here (search and you won't find much fanfare here around that game, at least it's not usually cited over and over like other classic ntr games).
Personally I don't like it because it's not mystery and it's just sad for the sake of it, but the character design was pretty.
I agree with the rest of your post but this part not really, it's an accepted and useful term in Japanese circles, along with ntr, used in stories and bbs. Just like netorase is its own thing, or mother netorare (mtr as koreans call it), and so on.
Dlsite isn't the the ultimate judge of Japanese tags, and DMM/FANZA even less (they don't even separate netori and netorare there, which is such a pain in the ass).
Don't get me wrong, it's part of netorare for me, not separate, it's just a specific version of it, so labelling something as BSS, for people into it, they will find it easily, and for people into netorare, they know they'll like it (or not), based on their preferences around established couples as a setting.
Yeah it's basically a subversion of a typical romcom setting, where the ending is them getting together, except this is netorare so she's stolen by someone else.

Just learned about the Gacha Game NTR Controversy today so yeah, you're pretty normal considering
I really really really absolutely do not understand how this game made it to the top 5 of ntr games on f95zone. And how this got such a high rating with so many votes. I played a ton of ntr games in my life and i would say i have got an objective level and a lot of experience from where I feel like I got a good fundament to kinda evaluate/assess this but in no case ever would I rate this game 5 stars. There are almost no lewd scenes, the scenes themself have almost no CGs, the story is bland to mediocre, the gameplay elements are far too many and I myself dont feel they are well done. I coule go on for many more aspects of this game and its all the same. Mediocre to bad. There is nothing really good in it. Hack even updates take forever. Nuthing is completly bad, but everything mid at best. So can anybody explain to me how in the world this game outperforms HangoverCat games, Azienda, N_taii, Fujjino, Hanataka - every fucking real NTR game/dev that at least excels in one major category?!?!? I dont get it

Sometimes too fast corruption can ruin an otherwise promising (but old) game, like in Minako: Beloved Wife in the Countryside. Shame.

If that's what I think it is, an official artist made a nice fan art of one of the girls he designed getting out of a room with white stains on her cleavage with shadows outlining people (see below), and immediately people went ape shit because everyone assumed it was ntr and of course harassed him.
I agree that it can be interpreted as ntr, but :
- it can as well be interpreted as non ntr and the girl getting out of the room with the commander
- there is no reason to go ape shit like they did
- it's not in the game, it's fucking fan art
These people make extreme yaoi/yuri fans look sane, and that's something.
I thought at first this was about the chinese NTR game that weaponised yaoi against enemy clans
I don't play gachas, but the character looks hot
Historically, there has been some artists that make doujin or just one-off ilustrations about their own characters and their own supporters raise hell
There are a lot of those, mostly because some devs are stupid and forget who their main paying customers are.
Famous Example: A drama from 2 years ago about Girl Frontline 2, a sequel to Girl frontline 1.
Basically chinese players accused the story of pushing a cuck/NTR (netorare) plot that disrespected the Commander (player character) with the interactions of a characters called Daiyan ( a female pg and fan favorite since GFL1) and a new male NPC named Raymond which was, in the event ,a terrorist.
The stories that bound the two were of the “I can fix him” type of shit, and many noticed that the event used chinese terminologies that went far beyond just acquaintances or friends. Obviously this is not the only instance since another female PG also seemed to have similar behavior with respect to another new male character.
Beyond that the events seem inconsistently written with the worldbuilding setted prior and it did not go down well among the players. This could be explained with the main writer of GLF1 being still busy with the old game so they brought a female writer called Star. Needless to say that after the valentine event where Daiyan gave the player a toothbrush ( in china giving a toothbrush can be interpreted as a sexual innuendo — it implies cleaning up after an intimate encounter) a doubt arose that she was writing self-insert stories and she didnt have good intentions.
Obviously after this drama(and revenues going down and down) they quickly changed the tune by removing the main writer from her position and recalling the main writer of GFL1.
In a nutshell if I have to summarize it is a company that tries to capitalize on the general audience by introducing both males and females PG but forgetting who the product was originally referred to (GLF1 was basically a Waifu collection)

Right, if the artist wants to make art of his character outside of the normal setting or in a reimagined scenario, some people start complaining.

) where the autor can play with his imagination, wich doesn't happen enough outside little web novels or small doujins, and for official artist, like Takeda Hiromitsu in his Maken-ki side chapters, part of his audience hated them, and many deduce it was ultimatedly axed-rushed due to the backlash and pressure the magazine had

I'm sick of Harem angle though, wuwa probably worse for this, it started out okay, but truly actual name for this game is gathering wives like omg every female character loves rover be male or female. I like the game, but I'm getting tried of this. Genshin doens't have this because MC is literally side character, HSR its one GF firefly, other girls just friends. ZZZ mostly Astra, other girls just friends only community pushes gooning shit. No one really cares for belle it seems wise get reactions
