Isn't DLsite still safe but just the sharing websites the issue here? I would assume the dev behind the games aren't the people who's maliciously doing this, especially if its to sell.

Either way, I personally only download from their Patreon/DLsite directly or the links provided by the F95 Mods; so far they've been great.

Yea I also stopped downloading from external sites and only pretty much download approved stuff here, not from leakers. Way too dangerous.

Man, this is huge. And yea, dlsite should be aware of this. the cryptominor article was shared 2 days ago, so this is new. But still, official and sold version being infected is something crazy. Well, nobody is safe and everyone should check on those syscacheapp files and winlogon paths. Since it was clearly told/proved that syscacheapp.exe is a cryptominor virus, their's no doubt. If u got this thing, u launched an infected game. Thanks for this information, and yea, someone should alert DLsite..

This one i could i could play with translator ++ but i never found away to open the NTR route. if anyone played this i would like a small push to find the route. i always find the horn then wedding then happy ending. not that i dislike a good ending but i also wanted to see the bad ending

The F95zone thread for this game got updated with information about how to find and delete the minor which was in most of the shared versions of this game.

Followed your instructions and found and deleted the syscacheapp and modified the registry. Thanks for this. Anything else I should be doing? I didn't delete it until now and I ran that game on release day.....

Seems that u're safe. cryptominor can't run if u deleted those files. What u can do (as i said), is to check ur regedit path, if it doesn't get edited after a restart, u should be safe (for what i know). Also add deepscan over ur disk and check ur .exe files over ur entire disk. It is a cryptominor, but changing the used passwords between the time u launched that game and now, could be a bonus into secure.

I would at the bare minimum be running SFC and Autoruns.
