Nothing wrong with expectations. But limit them down to reason and logic. Keep in mind. The people that are creating these Projects/Works are Human too. This means anything within the Universe, even inexplainable events, can occur. And they may result in a permanent end to their fragile existence or what they were doing. So many things can happen. They might just lose interest and suddenly stop.
Take Hanataka, for example. The creator of NTRPG. Soul crushing expectations, both from others and from himself. He didn't simply lose interest. It wasn't just a burnout. He just couldn't do it anymore, because apparently, if research confirms it for me, he simply didn't have the same touch anymore and he knew it.
So many things can happen. But rather than crush people, by Love or Hate. Never show indifference or apathy. Be reasonable. Give them some room, when you see them being down, give them some hope, but never too much or too little. Don't be too cruel or too naive. There are restraints you must learn and use.
I wouldn't say complete balance or harmony. But i'd rather say: Not excess water, but not thirst.
That's all i should say on the matter.
