I don't get it... It says that it's a patch for the original "5 days of separation" game... How does that work? Do I apply the patch and start a new game and it will have new scenes and such or something? I read somewhere here that it was a remake, that's why i'm asking

Its a patch. Updated artwork and fully voiced. There a link to a patched game in the thread but its in Japanese. Apparently the patch doesn't work with the english version?

Not that many good releases in 2024. My top list will probably look similar to many others just from lack of choice.

1. Scars of Summer After
2. Mirage's Defection
3. Carva-san Chi
4. Rinatest
5. Kosho-ten no Pastel

Lots of care put into these. Side characters get dialogue changes when plot progresses. Other games are very sloppy in comparison.

I also discovered Biniku no Kaori when the English patch released and that was quite the treat, but that game released like 16 years ago.

If the focus on every character gets taken away and all the storylines are shallow then yes, it's absolutely bad and happens too often. If it's made well then no, but it's very rarely made well.

I think it has an english translation already? I seem to remember reading that all available languages were being tested simumtaneously

It would be nice to start the year with a decent NTR, but from the demo I would just say this game will be ok.
