The art inconsistency completely ruined it for me. The artist really didn't even try to finish some of those CGs.

Frankly I dont mind inpainting. Seems like a pretty decent way to make ok-ish art into something much better while not being a total slave of what the AI makes.

Yea to be fair I also felt like this, must've definitely been the case. I hope the artist can grow in the future, the inconsistency is definitely noticeable.

If pretty solid if you run a cheat program for the lame fights and survival mechanic. Loses some points too for having to put the girl alone with the guy intentionally to start the NTR.

But good art and animation, and probably the best NTR all year so far. lol

I doubt this is the case, the dev stated on his discord "You can see a noticeable decline in CG quality in the later stages of the game. In the early stages, I usually spent a week creating a single CG, whereas the later CGs were rarely given the same level of careful refinement." due to "I have received a large number of threats, attacks, and harassment, accusing me that if I didn't release the game on the 15th, they would bombard me with negative reviews. This is also why I rushed to release the game despite the incomplete proofreading of the English translation and the presence of so many bugs. However, this is also my own fault. I promised on Christmas that I would release the update on January 15th, but due to my lack of development experience, many tasks took far more time than I had anticipated." This explains the inconsistency but whether or not AI assistance was involved, personally I don't really see it.

I think the game felt a bit heavy because of those details, but otherwise I liked it and as you say it is possibly one of the best NTR games of 2024.

tend to agree. it looks nice even with the inconsistent level of polish on the art, but the game just doesn't flow that well. lots of random bugs, essentially feels like it has 2 separate ntr progressions in the daily events and the main story, causing both to feel kind of rushed, and it's difficult to be invested in the heroine to begin with given how barebones the writing is. the actual game element of it (combat+scavenging+food/sanity management) feels pretty much entirely vestigial and i think has no effect on any scenes, nor does engaging with it really put any extra pressure on you to get or avoid scenes. not a terrible game but not a particularly good one, probably still worth at least trying though.

We get so many scenes that are "okay lets meet up", and then only the "Oh that was a great meet up!". Frankly there should be some actual in person meets with the main girl, at least in the beginning so we can establish some rapport.

Personally I absolutely love the ussage of message apps in NTR games. They are usually really hot, sending snippets of pics etc. But it really needs all that sauce around to actually feel meaningful and rewarding.

But I guess I am a minority as those games seems to be really popping off.

EDIT: thinking about a setting that could work for me would be to have a normal VN at the start. So we actually see the girl in person, build up relationship and then they got to move abroad and get into long distance relationship. That seems like a great setup for sms ntr.

I agree, for some reason i just cant get into those, but i'm not sure it's because its texting-only i think its just that those games typically aren't trying very hard to build a hot context. Usually they're just a bunch of generic conversation where the non protagonists personality appears more and more corrupted. I bet, given alot of these games use AI to generate the art, they literally also just tell an AI to come up with a conversation of a person who is "x%" more "corrupt / slutty" than the previous conversation. Without really any regard for what the conversation is or what it means for the larger story.

The best texting-only game (or, technically it has some meeting up scenarios, but its primarily text based) i've ever played is A Wife's Phone. I can highly recommended if you haven't tried it.

Does it have some sort of translation, even if just the menus and UI? Most games fromt he dev receive one, even if just edited MTL.

Their games do tend to be decent through.
