I've played 3 different games from Cli Pick throughout my time on this website, mainly because of how often i see people mention it on this thread, and it is BAFFLING to me how these games are considered as like top tier NTR. Now i'll admit that i didn't finish a single one of them so i don't really know how things turn out in the end, but from what i've seen these games are the PURELY about rape and pedophilia and nothing else, like i'm pretty sure that in those 3 games that i've tried, there isn't a single scene where any of the girls are even remotely close to enjoying sex, maybe except when they're drugged out of their mind but...that is hardly a positive thing to say.

Also, while i admit that the female cast looks relatively good all things considered, the men could easily be contenders for worst looking bad guys in porn games, like in one of the games there's a guy that literally looks he's half rat, maybe he was in Wailing guignol, i don't remember exacly.
Half of the men in the Cli Pick games look like they're the offsprings of Enlai from Corruption of the Village if Enlai could impregnate animals.

For me the uglier the guys the better. I like having the contrast of beautiful heroine and a vile antagonist. Also makes the "betrayal" bigger from usually good looking MC. For me NTR really is about contrasts. Contrasts between heroine and antagonist, contrast of non corrupted vs corrupted heroine, contrast between MC and the antagonist etc. Imo the bigger the contrast the better the ntr. Also why you have to set up ntr with enough storytelling before, you dont have contrast if you didnt establish the first part.

As for why they are good, they have compelling stories. They have good setup so once the ntr hits it really hits. I also kinda like the artstyle. I just feel like from your description, you dont have issue with the game itself, but with the subgenres it contains. That being non con, loli and ugly bastard. For me I am kinda lukewarm on most of them (though I do like ugly bastard), so the qualities I mentioned before really shine for me.

I agree. If the girl is all about truth and justice, then the best guy to corrupt her is a playboy liar. If she normally loves beautiful guys, then an ugly bastard is perfect for her downfall. Just depends on how things are setup story wise.

I recently actually really like having regular guys fight for a girl, you really rarely see that in NTR hentais since they usually go with extremes in either direction but for me the perfect setup is just your average guy longing for something that is supposed to be yours and achieving it through actual romance. I suppose this is just my personal opinion but the few doujins that exist with that setup have really impressed me by how much deeper the story actually is than most of the slop stories that use blackmail/rape as an excuse for a setup. I find it an interesting point of view that I wish was explored more in games.

This was tough, for sure... Maybe it's because I'm not too big of a fan of Clipick - but that first scene in Sanctuary is on a different level of tragic, imo. It's up there with the greats.

In all honesty I think that game loses itself pretty hard after the first 1-2 hscenes happen but holy fuck, the way it builds up for so long without anything lewd happening, beautifully developing the bond between the two main characters in so many aspects (since childhood lol), only for that punch to hit your gut once it finally does is so, so heavy. Even the music that goes with it has that "childhood's innocence is over btw" vibe to it and really stuck with me.

Switching to FMC in part 2 blows tho, just a corruption game after that. But that first part with the guy MC, was top notch. Even hit me with a twist I wasn't expecting lol. After getting to part 2 though, I just went to the gallary to see the part 1 scenes that wher ehidden, and damn where they good. If the dev just scrapped that part 2 FMC switch, this game could have been one of the greatest.

I highly recommend anyone who hasnt played it to go play until the switch to FMC and then unlock thed gallery. Worth it for that part 1.

Honastly even switching to FMC might have worked better if instead of now having to be a whore around town to build a corruption meter, if the girl just tried to free the MC from prison or somthin. All the short corruption scenes with rando guys just aint it. Scrap all that and do a lot of build up and scenes for the jerk who betrayed the village or somthin. Oh well.

This is our version of Hermione, her current expression might have a bit of a smirk or mischievous grin, which fit how I want Hermione for my project, that said, she will ofc. have multiple expressions when the game comes out.
- We here used references from the books and the movies, mixes with references like Akabur's version, and that have come to live with Yamkha(my artist) drawing style. And this is the end result.
- The books references her with curly/bushy wild brown hair and brown eyes. These features have we used for our version, and also like already mentioned, mixed with the movies, which is why her hair is a bit more to the lighter side.

Every person depict/imagine Hermione differently, and its close to impossible to satisfy everybody. This version match for my project which is why we will be using it - The old version might be used later for some alternative scenes.
