Don't get me wrong, there are some really good NTR games with FMC in my opinion. Alansya Chronicles does this very well in my opinion.

Im of the opinion that FMC ntr is different enough to not be considered NTR. The tone and brain chemical it releases are somewhat different from Male MC NTR, at least for me. And I am not saying that in a good or bad way, its just different. I alternate between preferring one or the other

But it is a useless conversation because who exactly is benefitting from marking all female protag games as just cheating? I would argue that 99% of the type of people to play FMC NTR like Alansya also like MC NTR. Making them two categories benefits so little people its funny.

The hypnosis discussions are ok, since theyre just mostly saying it's a weak part of ntr if it's not done properly, compared to the constant "fMc nOt NtR" comments.At least they still acknowledge hypnosis as part of the genre.

The "discussions" about it can be a drag too sometimes. When, as me and other members already said, it can be done in a lot of various ways but people just want to simplify it as "instant sex" as a whole. I mentioned before that "discussions" about it feels more and more like a "pineapple on pizza" situation where people just hate it because it is the common opinion.. They don't actually discuss it.

As for the subgenres, I do occasionally see them, yeah, like for example, against BSS or mother ntr. Cant we just co-exist within this ntr community and let people enjoy the things they want instead of whinning constantly about "this thing is not ntr because blah blah blah blah blah".

But some games have both female and male protagonist, can you filter out the ones who only have female pov?

I like female pov games myself if the art is good and the fmc can wear some ridiculously slutty outfits. But they do have a very different feel to male pov NTR, so I would prefer to have them tagged as Cheating to easier tell the difference.

If that's the case,and youre afraid of missing out, then you have no choice but to simply go for netorare tags and simply READ the tags in the thread itself . Good thing it's in alphabetical order and fmc tag starts with letter F. After that, just simply walk away. No harm done.

I see your point about adding the filter and it's likely something I'll do going forward but ideally, the tag should be amended to corruption.

I'd also mention that the netorare tag on this site doesn't differentiate between the 3 main types of NTR (A, B, C) which is equally as frustrating.

I would argue that the gender of the main character does not matter in classifying if something is NTR. Rather, it's the situation itself.

MC cheating = Cheating/netori

The reason I think people are complaining about FMC games not being netorare is simple: because they are not. You are usually put in the shoes of someone doing the cheating (therefore, netori). If a game has the female MC being cheated on though, then it would be NTR.

I go the update page, I filter with the netorare tag and then I see a game with art that looks great, I get hyped and then low and behold it's FMC.

It's the equivalent of ordering a succulent steak at a restaurant, waiting an hour and then the server puts down a plate of fresh horseshit in front of you.

There is nothing being "taken" in FMC games besides me being taken for a twat when I see great art in a game labelled incorrectly.

With the above said, I'm not saying FMC games are all bad, some are done really well and I enjoy playing them but they are not netorare by the above definition. They just would fit the corruption narrative better.
