Because none of you have properly stated why it is hated. And yes, I wouldn't complain if you said the game was mid as long as you said the same about NTR Knight, that's all.

The big difference to me between Labyrinth and NTR Knight/Nebel is that in Labyrinth you need to make everything happen. The wandering events don't happen unless you view them, and I think you need to lose to start/keep the corruption going. There is a huge difference in the feeling of a game between figuring out how to make events happen and fighting against them happening on their own. I also really don't like that in Labyrinth there's a point where the protagonist finds out about the infidelity and just kind of continues on. Something like that should be the end of the story or a major shifting point, it really ruins things for me otherwise.

To be honest I didn't care for NTR Knight too much either, I would only rank it slightly above Labyrinth.

Don't hate it but I got bored really quick. Feels like a walking simulator and the corruption was way to fast. Also it felt like you needed to make the choice to fail for the corruption to start. Like you needed to fail and if you didnt you had no idea the rest of the game would become a walking simulator.
And once corruption started it was just searching for scenes by walking around. And when I found out there was only the most bland character that was the bull and none of the other men I was dissapointed. The combat part was meaningless and they should have just made it a visual novel.... and removed the walking. Jesus christ I spent so much time walking around searching for nothing. He could have made the maps much smaller and removed all the extra useless areas. Like the intro when you need to walk around a giant school going from one side to another to advance the story. They could have shrunk the size by 2/3 and it would have been much better and still been a school.

Paralell Relief that got released recently I liked more. In that game you had to work to avoid your ladies from being stolen. Problem that game had was that it was way to short and the pregnancy mechanic sucked. But calling one of the ladies while she was getting "trained" was nice. And the 2nd bull in that game was also just silly and felt like he was just a filler to make the game bigger.
Same with Nebel that you had to work hard to avoid your girl from being stolen. But that game had good adventure mechanics and the fights and stuff you needed to do felt and was meaningful. Knowing if you venture to far and not being able to get to the control room in time to stop the bull but at the same time you needed to advance.

Hey, I was literally playing this game rn too, it's the same ANIM game with the father stealing your wife right? I was wondering, is it possible to AVOID the coworker girl from making advances, like she gives a bj to MC eventually, but can you just not have that happen and have the husband be completely innocent? Would make it hit harder imo if he didn't really do anything wrong at all.

But yeah, the writing is great and the betrayal signs hit hard. The other ANIM game which really got me was basically the first Japanese VN I played which was NTR Homestay, especially because that had one of my favorite storylines, oyakodon where both your wife and daughter are stolen by the arrogant guy. The "reveal" scene in that game is glorious and hot on the oyakodon route.

yes, rejecting her advances grants you one special ending where the character is totally unaware for ever (game ends there and you do not get the woman part but you get a special scene in the gallery). and one where he finds them after coming back from work (where you then move on towards the woman side).

but engaging with the woman also gives you some good stories one of them involves you finding out and the storie continueing from the male point of view. so it is worth trying. i did not finish it because it was too late

I personally put this game above the Homestay one just based on the writing. Homestay gave me writing PTSD. the game was overly verbose and followed a very recognizable pattern of female orgasm, dual orgasm, female orgasm, dual orgasm, on each scene that made it repetitive and excacerbated when you took the oyakodon route. mother orgasm, daugther orgasm, dual orgasm, dautgther orgasm, mother orgasm anoter dual orgasm. then some other form of multiple orgasm.

I understand you want to portray mister muscle man as the best fucker ever, but when your writing already explored everything there is to see to the sex scene you can simply fade to black imply that 100 orgasm happened then put a CG with the girls showered in cum.

the only saving grase for Homestay is that 90% of the sex scenes are just that hot.

King of Summer, Gods Blessing on this Cursed Ring, Legend of the Hero of Edoriam... all have their faults but are better than the average NTR game on F95 I dare say. Demon Hunter is very inspired by SAO but has the Honey Select 3d style.

I remember skipping through a lot of the moaning and shrieking for the occasional dialogue lol by the end of my playthrough. It's actually a bit of a balancing act, where I think some writers get a bit too taken in by padding and trying to fill some quota of ero scenes where it ends up being quantity > quality and probably Homestay's biggest falling there. Tsuma no biniku is better in that regard at least. Also, more points if they switch up the positions and situations with each encounter, especially in mystery NTR, like I find hidden sex or phone sex pretty hot, where the wife is doing it while hubby is still oblivious, and there's little context clues on the male route.

NTR Knight has a similar issue - the protagonist practically sees the female lead having sex in her own room. It can be said that the game gives the main character too many hints.
But honestly, I don't rate Labyrinth too much higher than NTR Knight. I personally consider both games good, and I'm just annoyed that Labyrinth is hated so much more than NTR Knight. Also, Nebel is my favorite NTRPG of all time.

Personally, I think the lingering traces after each scene and the female lead's reactions the next day are suggestive enough to work well, but fair enough.

funny, the only phone sex i got was in the ignorant ending. and it was a shame that it was too short since you get a lot of phone calls in the regular route.

The new game Labyrinth of Servitude and Liberation sucks , theres barely any story to follow.As others said the game ended after prologue.

This is the first time I've felt like an NTR game should have been a completely vanilla game. The prologue was a great start to a romance, which could have been a great start to the loss-driven feeling of NTR, but it wasn't. When the prologue ended, the game ended too.

Barely? Wdym, there are many scenes scattered throughout the town, which gradually unlock as the female protagonist's corruption progresses. Doesn't it count as a part of the story? If is not, then NTR Knight and Nebel Geisterjäger barely has any story to follow either.

Nah, don't compare lust marks with mind control, lust marks is like an equipment that weakens the body, and she can still try to actively resist. The only thing that makes the main heroine in this story irresistible is because she needs to find a way to get rid of it. Also, the concept of branding the girl's body to heighten sensitivity and gradually corrupt it while she tried to resist in vain is fcking hot.

Also, isn't it basically the plot of NTR Knight? Labyrinth of Servitude and Liberation even makes it so much better. If you say NTR Knight's strong point has never been the plot, then we'll come back to my previous point.

I put lust marks in teh same vein as using aphrodisiac or roofying the girl. It kills the whole vibe and is a lazy writing crutch.

It clearly hits that itch for you so im happy for you. But as a pure Netorare work, it's bad story wise. The setup for why we should even care that the girl gets corrupted is lacking. Add in the corruption has to be progressed purposefully, so its just netorase in feeling. And anything that causes the girl to be corrupted out of her own will, such as a lust mark, is just instantly a boner killer for me.

You have stated other games like NTR Knight and Nebel, and they have similar issues in my mind. They are bad. But they clearly work perfectly for you, so this is just us being on completely opposite ends in what we look for in an NTR game.

Fujinos older games like Scatach/Sakura They are linked and I dont rember which comes first, lol. King of summer was really good until the dev started mixing netorase and netorare and netori all in the same story for the same characters interchangeably, lol.

Honestly, Nebel's story is just okay if not mid, what really sold me for that game was the core setting, gameplay mechanics, and NTR scenarios. That's why it's still my favorite NTRPG despite its so many flaws. As for Labyrinth, the story is okay and the NTR scenes are solid. So for me it's not a great game, but it's far from bad—flawed, sure, but still better than most low-effort NTR slop out there.

Add in the corruption has to be progressed purposefully, so its just netorase in feeling.

I’ll admit one of Labyrinth’s biggest flaws is how netorare events only occur if you manually trigger them in town. While I can overlook this myself, I totally get why it might ruin the immersion for others.
