I don't like choices in NTR, the game feels like you have to loose on purpose and that is an insult to me as a gamer. sure you can have plenty of other choices, like getting buttfucked vs oral sex. or having a crappy ending vs a revenge one. but when you show me the obvious archetype of those NTR rangers. and you are asking me to wilfully trust Mr ugly bastard and Nampakun you are pretty much calling me an idiot.

That actually reminds me of a game concept i made once for fun. Where i made a good reason why the bastard(uncle) had to live in the same roof has you(house was destroyed in goblin raid), and where every choice had a pro and con. Like do you go with your GF and the bastard has she shows off the village, or do you investigate what happened.

It kind of played off the player knowing the tropes of this kind of stories, where trying your hardest to prevent the bastard of getting closer just made it easier for him to win at the end.(since the GF found your actions disturbing)

what made you disappointment in the game ?

Lack of content for how long it's been out and overall wasting my time. It's a sandbox for no other purpose than being a sandbox, so all of its features are just pointless and pure filler. There's also this really strange part where you have to play a minigame to progress and buy a phone, and it's literally just having to click a button to earn gold for every click. You can eventually buy an auto clicker for that gold, and I was just sitting there wondering why it was in the game.

To me it just reminded me a lot of Power Vacuum because the humor, the characters (serious older sister, bombshell mom, loving younger sister), and the way NTR is handled. It's wholly avoidable, but points aren't kept to track your relationship with the characters so they're entirely susceptible to be NTRed at any time despite your previous decisions, which makes them feel flat or just plain dumb.

I like that interpretation. There's a delicious amount of schadenfreude to harvest from an entitled MC having his harem stolen.

I don't disagree with the schadenfreude point at all, but I guess what gets me is it feels weird to be actively rooting against the the MC. There should be an element of tragedy, of something beautiful being destroyed, not just wondering why the girls were interested in the MC in the first place and cheering for them to go to the superior man! It feels kinda like 'Revenge NTR' to me; definitely not gonna argue whether or not it's 'true' NTR, whatever that would mean, but I definitely think it's its own distinct sub-genre, with a different appeal.

Totally fair point about those stories being great for having a ready-made harem to work with, though.

I absolutely agree with you and your way of thinking, however, I do not like games with unavoidable NTR, because I want to feel as if I "was able to fix it but I didn't". Instead of clicking on the pink heart option, and getting NTRd, I wanna get skill issued (which is kinda hard bcuz those kinda games are kinda too easy (this is not a brag)).

Yeah, 100% agreed on this, both on how great that feeling of having tried and failed is, but also how difficult it is to actually have a game pull off well. (To anonsuit's point, I feel like totally linear stories tend to be better ones in practice just because of how hard it is to pull off the difficulty balance for 'You can try to avoid it, but will probably fail').

I'm blanking on the name at the moment, but I remember one game that at least made an effort to pull it off was an SRPG where there were actual in-game / in-universe tactical benefits to having the MC on his own and the FMC with the other guys during battles, but obviously doing that would lead to progress down the NTR route, so you had to balance avoiding going too far on that against actually being able to win and move forward.

I like the mystery element and buildup too, but I'd just rather get the porn at the climax of this, instead of having to run out and kill 10 blue slimes before I can rent the DVD.

The sex scenes are usually the weakest part of most of your typical handdrawn RPGM NTR games as well, imo, with the usual static image of some sex position with some text and then the same image with a cumshot. I feel this part is even weaker when its partioned into its own in the recollection room. Might as well watch some better porn and pretend its NTR instead at that point.

I just played Labyrinth of Servitude myself and its very much got these problems. Great prologue but the rest of the game was a bit disappointing.

A game I just played that I feel did it better is https://f95zone.to/threads/being-an-adventurer-is-not-always-the-best-update-2-dynamo.131193/ since you either see the actions taking place as the MC, or you travel around in a ghost mode where you see the action happening in real time. That game is barely a prologue at this stage and very buggy though.

I agree I personally prefer the omnipresent PoV in my porn games. but the gallery unlock is a good medium for those ultracucks that like not being able to watch the porn.

to me the best example of these voyeuristic NTR games is NTRPG2 followed by the Henteria games inspired by it and boyhero ken.

It was translated by Dazedanon initially. Maybe he'll cover it too. He does that when a new patch/DLC comes out, at least occasionally, like with Violated Princess? Don't know though. 1h of content is plenty enough, not some patch, and the original was comissioned for some $650, IRC.

I also tried it in Joiplay & it works Fine too still didn't counter any kind of problems as I keep Progressing to the Story

I still want another NTR game like this. The only thing I have to criticize about this game is that the middle part is not long enough and the menu-screen where the girls make comments reflecting their corruption status is not enough, there should have been more of that with steady changes. The game was over when it got really good.

But other than that, I think this is a really good game. The girl(s) is/are hot, esp. white haired one, with her attitude as well, you got corruption with just the right tone, that distinction between well-meaning but mediocre vs. mischievous/exploitative and strong. I hope the dev or another dev does more of that kind of story. Esp. in the fantasy dungeon-delving setting.

I think that NTR as a whole will get ass-blasted into oblivion on Itch.io with these rules in place, for people who know nothing about NTR, and because of how vague the genre most of the time is (and to be fair because most of these things can be found in NTR games usually), any of these could be reasons why a game with NTR in it would be breaking Itch.io's rules:

That's Nenotori and no it does have not an english translation. There is a chinese one though if you understand that language.
