Why don't you try his previous game (rain monster's creator). It's complete. I would suggest not to play rain monster demo since it's already coming out in late September. There is not much scenes in it. But then again it's your choice. His previous game although very similar to scar of summer, still was one of the better rip off. I was also not a fan of 3d art before, but after playing his first game, I changed my mind. I mean dude knows how to write NTR stories.

The demo features a lengthy (I think they made it skippable after an update) prologue that establishes the potential routes. Once you get to the main scenario/present time, you can play the start of 2 routes, a middle-aged drunk guy and a black guy. The dev has released several scenes in his progress updates that some heroes have uploaded in the game thread.

No clue if you mean that in type A gal cheats once you start the game, which is totally not necessary, or just later on in the game starts cheating on her own volition. So in latter case (which would be the most cases as what kind of NTR is it if gal is some slut or town bicycle from the get go, there is just nothing to take away from you, haha) female character gradually changes under the external antagonist(s) influence, which is... tada - corruption. Type B and C are so much easily done and boring - so that's why they constitute majority, you quickly slap some blackmail or rape (which is more of coercion and straight forcing in the beginning, not corruption), or even worse something like mind control/hypnosys, which I don't fucking know which type is, just the laziest shit.

So how do you agree with 'netorare without corruption is shit. So I’ll probably go with corruption', and say that type A is boring? I mean it can be, if a gal sees a bick dick accidentially and then just jumps on it and loves it, there isn't much corruption, but apart from this or some close tropes. What would make a woman cheat on her partner willingly? Writing it... reasonably, believable, going all the way to the end of the story/NTR process? Now that would be a corruption. Type B or C can be too, if female is... fighting it, struggling, but falling eventually. But A can be... quite longer and expansive, deeper? The problem though... I wouldn't be able to name a good Type A game off the top of my head.

The same deal with NTR/NTS by the way IMO as with types. Maybe there are actually plenty of NTS enjoyers, but the amount of NTS games vs NTR, especially the 'phone' ones, is so much... disporportionally greater, it seems to me. The reason at least partially is - so much easier to write. 'Uh, baby/honey, I think I have that cuck fetish awaken in me, can you go and fuck that/any guy?' And that's pretty much it. Bokudaka is a bit more expansive and immersive though. At least from Japanese stuff that I know. Then scenes or 'reports' can be written easily, depending on whether the cuck is present. Cause that's anyways in the open, whether MC is present or just getting all the juicy details. Compare this to writing mystery NTR. The amount of effort... risking still not pulling it off at the end of the day and getting shat on.

Boring is a bit of a stretch. It's different but not boring by any means, there are many stories that involve NTR with willingly cheating that are loved by a bunch of people. I think using the same tropes in every story to justify the NTR tag is boring (hence my distain about BBC blackmail NTR tropes that have been recycled a million times) but honestly even that can make for an interesting story. I think the only time a story is boring if the author limits his own creativity, everything else is fair game.

Been getting really, really into NTR lately, and as a newcomer, I'm curious what you guys would put up as your S-tier games that are available here on F95zone? After reading a bunch through this thread it sounds like a lot of the games people are playing are only available off-site, but I'm curious about favorites that are available here.

I think one thing that I've been struggling with is that the "netorare" tag on this site is clearly intended to be a more blanket term of "does a character have sex with a character that isn't the protagonist", which I guess is a literally accurate definition, but I'm definitely more interested in the harder NTR type stuff.

I've mostly been sticking to Western VN's so far, but I'm open to branching out both to games on RPGM (as long as they're not grindy) and Eastern games (as long as they're available here and translated).

Some of my favorites to give you a sense of my tastes, but I feel like I've only scratched the surface:

S-tier:
A Promise Best Left Unkept (surprised to hear that this has mixed reviews around here! I'm a big fan of HangoverCat)
Vulgar Reverie (I know it's NTS, but I still love it)
My Husband's Boss

A-tier:
Navigating the Rift
Falling Undercover: Nox Syndicate

B-tier:
Dimajo333 games: Pineapple Express, The Big Apple
Moonripple Lake (also NTS but I liked it)

Honorable Mentions:
Our Red String (imo barely NTR, but I do love this game)

For the anime fans as well, I love and have devoured pretty much everything that Antechinus has put out.

And some of my bookmarks, in case any of these are worth playing first:
