What a stupid waste of great art, mind control is as much NTR as if the bull just made a blow-up doll of the FMC and fucked that. It being rated 4.84 is a little disheartening, shows a massive divergence in NTR expectations between Western and native audiences. Points to the NTR drought just getting worse, with no expected relief in sight.

say that in general with the games with this art, the art is awesome, but NTR and games themselves aren't good. I played that gun girl one, game play was boring and she fell to easily. Usually i don't like FMC its not really NTR its just cheating if they have loved one

Its not bad but not great either. The premise for teh start of teh game is ass. Its a mind controlling hat and the guy and girl lose their memories after and babies are instantly printed.

The best events happen at the end that have nothing to do with the hat or main story. Old man, shota, and the Black guy. Still, this dev seems to be struggling with proper corruption setup in the last couple of games. But even unlocking teh scenes with gameplay is pointless. You just talk to teh same guy over and over and it unlocks stuff.

The scenes are super hot though. This whole thing should have just been a visual novel and the "gameplay" is nothing more than padding. No point in using rpgm when you dont even have any hidden sex sound effects happening in the overworld.

those sure are some of the best NTR games released this year. Still most of them had some major flaws... honestly it was one of the weakest NTR years in the recent decade...

I am somewhat seriously thinking about creating my own NTR game. I have experience in programming and software like Ren'py too, so the creation of a simple game itself isn't an issue besides the time and effort needed.
I have never created a game so having a good gameplay loop etc. might be hit or miss without experience but I think going for a management style game would be feasible.
Biggest issues are art and music, since I have exactly zero skill in both of those fields and neither the money, nor the knowledge how to hire someone to do it for me. I probably need to go for completely AI generated assets, which I am not personally against, but I also know how limiting it can end up being.

If anyone knows good ways to contact artists (especially Japanese ones) in a professional manner I would appreciate advice on the topic.
Edit: Let's Ignore the fact that I have been on this site for like 7 years and I still did not remember that we have a whole development area for questions just like this.

Even if it is looked down upon by some people, the reality is that even AI art needs a lot of care and attention to be good and that effort makes all the difference to AI art slop games. yesterday (not NTR) and the store screenshots make it look like just generic AI art was used, but actually most images are fully animated in the game and look far better than first impressions would suggest. And art can always be replaced later, if you do find the means to work with an artist after all.

The main problem are the artist themselves, they are the most unreliable group of people on the planet, its the reason why so many games have many different artist working on them.

what i meant to say was that art was made mostly by an actual artist with the help of ai, my best guess would an sketch ai, the colors and lines are too sharp and detailed for an ai.

I see, that is what you meant. Yes, I remember reading that on the store page, but I will be honest and say that since I have done quite a bit AI art myself I do not see the difference. Most "good" AI art looks like this or even better in my opinion. The colors are actually very typical AI and probably one of the biggest turn offs for me, even if I did end up liking it.

I’ll use this opportunity to ask everyone lurking in this thread what you like most about NTR games when it comes to the gameplay and narrative aspects. I’m not talking about the type of NTR you want to see, but rather how you prefer these two elements to be incorporated into the game.

Should the gameplay be separate? Almost optional? Do you like it when the gameplay is directly involved in the NTR aspects and their development?

The same questions go for the narrative: do you like or care for the NTR to take place in a fleshed-out world, or is that just fluff you skip through to get to the adult content? Do you prefer the NTR storyline to be part of a greater story, or completely separate from it? For example, if the main story is about fighting the Demon Lord, do you prefer the NTR to be connected to that plot, or to happen alongside it as a separate thread? Or do you need such a framing in the first place?

I have my own thoughts on all of it but I would like to hear what others think.
