So, what's the verdict on the latest BBQ game, lads?

Shit?

My metrics are - Corruption speed, voyeuristic elements (shadow sex, behind the curtains fucking), Art and finally, scene diversity (gangbang, DP included?).

I'll make it easy for you, totally awful, just like Nebel, judge me. It's a game you can't play, whether because of bugs, or elements that are difficult to access in scenes, and the NTR aspect is dead. This isn't unique to here; nowadays, most NTR games don't have the feeling of betrayal that good NTR games used to have.

Damn. It feels like the real NTR these days is not getting proper NTR.

- Only decent game that we've had this year was NTR Hunter. While not perfect, it got the voyeur aspects right.

- GapTax is working on some futa crap. Which is a shame since that's the one dude I trust with NTR.

- Golden Neko (???), the dev with the big titted expressionless chick getting railed is sluggish as usual

- I don't trust the Scars of Summer dev anymore. Plain and simple.

- Soraue is ghosting.

- mryeh's next project hasn't even started yet.

- There's a bunch of promising non-Japanese NTR devs but none of them have put out a finished product yet. So, too early to judge imo.

Don‘t call it futa crap man I am actually looking forward to that game. You cannot go shame other genres if you like something that others dislike aswell, have some respect (especially since Gaptax already made a very good NTR game).

I really enjoyed BBQ's new game.

The only negative aspect besides the RPGM combat system is the night system.

in Nebel, you could see and stop/watch events at night, whereas in Priestess, You can only see events after they already happened (majority).

The quest log is really good so you always know what to do to progress the story. The maps aren't too big and you can avoid most combat mobs fairly easily.

There's still some bugs in the game right now, but the game is worth a purchase IMO. It's definitely one of the best NTR/Corruption games to come out this year. I think BBQ did very well.

I had no idea that it was a shitty engine for translators. I see Acerola(???)'s games translated in very short period.

So, I assumed that the dev's works aren't just good enough to warrant translations. But, what you say might explain the general lack of WolfRPGEditor translations.

So, I assumed that the dev's works aren't just good enough to warrant translations. But, what you say might explain the general lack of WolfRPGEditor translations.

Acerola is a huge name in the japanese h-game industry I think, at least for NTR. They also get picked up by Kagura Games most of the time which is why their games actually get translated.
I don't know the details of why WolfRPG is horrible to translate for, but I do remember dazedanon utterly bemoaning having to translate In By Side when it finally won a translation poll in his discord. And that guy translates a ton of RPGMs willy nilly.

Whether or not the games are up to your standard is a different matter. I really liked 90% of In By Side but felt the endings were either awful or left a lot of things to be desired. He's not a perfect dev but he's pretty strong when you analyze him under the dire straits NTR is in right now.

I kind of feel like the main reason why it feels like no updates/releases for good NTR games are coming out is because shit is always getting abandoned:
-Plagued by Lust (abandoned a year ago)
-My Best Friend Kouta (abandoned a year ago)
-Navigating the Rift (abandoned a year ago)
Girlfriend Tapes, Holding Hands, CFQ etc. are also respectively good games where the developer just ghosted everyone. They were so hype when these games released/got updated and at some point just stopped like wtf. Another example is the jp pixel art game where there was an uncle inkeeper that fucks your sister which was pretty hype but also got abandoned like 1-2 years ago.
