Yeah, the artwork is kind of a miss. I love the isometric pixel art and the art for the mini-games looks great so far, but the art for the cutscenes is not cutting it, personally. Proportions on the body are off and the faces look very weird and scrunched up while the top of the heads are massive in comparison. And then you have the semi-chibi art. The stylized art would look good in any other genre, but for a porn game it's not very appealing, imo.
But I'm a bit confused, since there is concept art of Chiho in a different style which I like a lot more.
So, the cutscenes and the banner art we have of Chiho are also inconsistent with the aforementioned in-game pixel art and concept art (something CB would address with this remake).

This is not Chiho.
From one of the game updates:
"Nerdy Girl: (Name Pending): This is a nerdy-looking girl who works at a local convenience store downtown! You will visit this place often when you decide to buy some "supplies" you need to have a good time Chiho. She may seem not threatening at first, but you will quickly find out she has a deep grudge for Chiho and won't hesitate to give her a hard time if she has the chance.
And if she takes notice that the wife is cheating... well, you will find out yourself!"

Alice looks like a lardass here. Will we get a girl with a slender body or will we just have slampigs and hags ?
Injurious names apart, I really hope that they will loosen-up on the "thick" aspect of girls, Chiyo almost feels normal compared to Alice. Really hope that the diverse cast of girls will also include diverse body types.
The pixel-art looks good though, seeing her on a plain background looks weird but I suppose the in-game environment will not make her feel out of place.

exactly ... the original body figure was much better ... now they just made the girls extra thick that doesn't feel good !!! ofc the details in pixel art is really good but they should keep body proportions right !!
brooo why does it have to be February, why not December for the release, after I played on this site and I'm really addicted. when the game is out I'm going to afk from this world to buy and play this game. fuck my job I'm going to play this for a whole month
