You're right in terms of that it's an old model but coil whine and damage to cards by uncapped FPS aren't only a thing of old cards, with the right setup you could probably even kill a RTX 4090 with an uncapped game run for to long, still dependend on some manufacturing components used etc.
And yeah most cards probably clock down on high usage or even emergency shut down, but emergency shutdown isn't a thing on 100% usage cause the card still runs in specs, it just runs max full time like this. So no concern really in the short term, but long term a no no.
And yeah, most emergency shut downs are around 90 - 120 C° for GPU's and CPU's.

The fans not immediately running is a thing of so called silent profiles, until the GPU hits somewhere around 50 - 70 C° some manufaturer think it's okey to not let the fans run at all, and after that mark they gradually ramp up the fans according to the heat.
Shit, this is bad then. I was able to see the taskmanager while the game was running(without stopping execution), while it was windowed, and the GPU was still really high. Thanks a lot for alerting me. So, I guess I won't be able to keep playing unless the creator does something about it, right? Not taking into account the possibility of upgrading my GPU(however it may be possilble)
I solved this problem by limiting FPS using Nvidia control panel

There's absolutely nothing wrong with your GPU hitting 100% usage while gaming, UNLESS it's overheating or running at high temp.
If you're so paranoid about the issue, get RTSS and make a profile for the game setting the maximum FPS. This doom and gloom is ridiculous.

I seem to be stuck and I'm not sure if it's a bug or not. I unlocked the coat which I assume is needed to do midnight exhibitionism in the city, but when I go there and try to call her it just says "There is something else with higher priority".
The hint doll just says to call her to my home at night and that I will need to have a skill unlocked, but I have all of the available skills unlocked and have done everything I can think of.

Have you invite her for Afternoon Tea, invite the couple to the bar to hear their back story, and call Chiho in the alley when her husband is at the bar? To activate exhibition at midnight you first have to talk to two guys at the night market at night with ! on their head.
