just updated from an old version, 3.1.4 to 2.2.2, the old saves carried over just fine and everything works, except for this. the phone is bugged, I can't send messages or even go to the message page, it says Day 0 with this "bill overdue..." message, how do I fix this? I guess I can ignore this for now since you don't actually need the phone to raise the shota gauge but I don't know if it'll become some essential feature later on 1680566651951.png

WHY WOULD YOU UPGRADE FROM 3.1.4 TO 2.2.2? Just use a fresh save.

because I just learned there's 2.2.2 just now, this afternoon, and didn't want to start over. got stuck with a ridiculous bug on 3.1.4 where no matter what you did you get the "shota heard you" message and couldn't progress at all, looked up the game to see if there's a newer version where this might've gotten fixed and there is

I've successfully transferred ps4 saves to pc saves don't see why it'd be a problem for THIS game lmfao

I’m having some issues translating the game. I’ve read the guide, but the config file won’t save the changes. I’ve opened it in notepad, done the changes, and clicked save, but when I view the file it still has ‘language=ja” there. Am I missing something?

I always close the file to make the file is saved instead of saving. If you have the game opened when saving then the changes won't stick either.

Do you mean you edit the file, close it, and then save it when it asks you if you want to keep your changes? I tried that, and it didn’t work.

EDIT: You were right, thanks. I was clicking the wrong option this whole time.

Pretty sure that bug is fixed in 3.1.6. Saves from different versions of the game have different parameters. If for example the version you are playing was expecting a parameter that your save does not have, it will cause problems. You can take your chances if you want. It is safer to start a new save especially if a major version change like v2 to v3 instead of a minor version change v3.1.4 to v3.1.6.
