What you describe is no different then the ntr stuff made. They basically use the same little dick cuck. Nts isnt supposed to have mystery. Actually given the player sees all the cheating ntr doesnt really have any mystery either lol catering to both ntr and nts isnt hard. If you read the comments they arent really writing a good nts anyways, your ntr is safe.
which is even more weird because in this game, the MC's dick is decidedly not small - it's pushing like, 7 or 8 inches. she's even getting him into bondage before she hops on stranger dick.

I was referring to ntr games in general, not specifically this mcs dick. But the fact remains that she disregards the MCs wishes all the time at least by what the chat says about the nts route. This one derailed early on. First it isn't really Netorare, just plain cheating. At first the writing for the protagonist at least pretends he is seeing the chat feed from the hacker, and then it is like he has had some form of memory wipe and isn't paying attention at all. There is no sense that he is aroused by having Irene with Jake, nothing. This is just a poorly written story about a complete simp who is so fucking clueless and spineless that I can't even feel bad for the dude. I don't know if you could even call him a cuck...there is nothing to really indicate he is getting anything out of this except a damn ulcer. Then at the very last part of this update there is a quick text with Irene about a dream he had that hints that he may have a kink about her Infidelity - whatever...at this point it should have either already been introduced or a 48-hours episode about a double homicide.
The only thing that ultimately saves this story is if he meets Jake, confronts him and Irene about their cheating and goes off to live in a monastery...I mean he's basically celibate anyway, what would be the difference?

NTS route is as it should be. Cuckold/hotwife kind of deal, gets off on his girl having a bull and being kept in the loop. Good.

Yeah, at least with others (NTR Mobile chief among them) it's made clear that the outright proof is visible only to the player, not the MC. Making the proof visible to the MC rarely makes the story coherent. (here, Lending, etc.) because making the MC anything other then a spineless coward would end the story - i'm not even inherently against the GF/FL being a terrible person, it can be hot. I want the story to acknowledge when the MC is being wronged and other characters to react like humans, without the only explanation being that everyone has a genuine hatred of the MC and/or 'you go girl, explore yourself' nonsense - despite the fact they'd obviously come down on any of the MC's sleeping around like a sack of bricks.
Alongside, yeah, no buildup or corruption - from loving GF to whore in a single date, and already willing to lie and gaslight before that. got the 'final' (abandoned) build just because it felt wrong that nobody had ever grabbed it despite not really liking this one myself.

I gave up on this long ago. I think it was the moment mc learned about fmc cheating. I think it was cafe scene or friend sends something to mc? I don't remember exactly. But yeah, this became hot trash pretty quickly. The ntr i like is all about hidden corruption behind mc's back. Using sexual sfx like bed creaking or moans or others while on call or behind something like a door or something. Smudged lipstick, hair near lips, cum stains, double meaning words or so on. The more girl resists the better. Of course players can see what's going on but mc can't. By that i don't mean mc should be blind. I have so many ideas but i'm limited by my hardware. So i can't create a game myself. I only have a laptop and can't afford proper good PC that can handle cg generation smoothly....

well ... that the problem when you have only MC as protagonist , if there is no FMC POV then the player basically have fap to the imagination , coz he see what MC sees , means the player will have to see the HC stuff only through her POV, which bring me again to what i said earlier "Female Protagonist fits better with ntr" meanwhile Husband/BF get few small hints but nothing too suspicious.
Both agree and disagree - Yeah, making the MC know means that a writer has to actually put in a suitable level of reaction or the reader/player will feel that lack of feedback. Basic narrative structure that really should be intuitive, a basic push and pull mental dynamic that's essentially universal both in life and fiction. However, I prefer the male perspective because in rare - excessively so - instances you do get that feedback and it's very satisfying. Again, NTR Mobile is - so far - doing it well and the MC feels like he actually exists in the story outside of being a cardboard cutout. (this, of course, can fall apart if the story updates and the MC actually learns and doesn't react.)
For Manhwa that does it pretty well, Silent War is pretty good even if not entirely satisfying.
Also, like I said before, the Female Lead being a terrible person can be really hot. It just requires actually acknowledging that she's a terrible person. Not even in ways that necessarily stop the NTR or story, just friends/acquaintances who will keep the secret but still call her out. ('not my circus, not my monkeys', even though that makes them also pretty terrible people, but understandably so. The handwave, plot contrivance that you can get away with would boil down to specifically the Female Lead). This would then give really good drama with the male lead not knowing and other people who don't talk about it but are clearly uncomfortable with it.
Also would open the route for female friends of the FL trying to seduce the not-pathetic MC without admitting 'yeah you're girlfriends a whore, you deserve better.', letting the player/reader feel a narrative feedback without breaking the story.

ofc male protagonist can be good for the story too , make him a little suspicious/jealous without being completely stupid (NTR doesn't necessary mean MC is beta & can't get some too either from FMC or other Li) , but i was talking about her HOT/HC stuff , Player cannot see it through MC's eyes coz if he do then MC does too , the whole point is to keep him in Dark.
Yeah, I think the issue with a lot of dev's is that they feel they have to fit the player knowing/seeing it into the framing device of the phone game, and in doing so they accidentally/lazily make it part of what the MC see's. Which, i'll be entirely fair - the trickle and pacing of stuff that the phone game framing device creates hit's my buttons super hard. It's simply a lack of creativity that breaks it.
There's also the fact that other ways of showing the NTR in the framing device (She's on only fans now!, Etc) degrade the audience investment in the female character there way harder, way faster. (Again, NTR Mobile sidesteps this by making the onlyfans insert the bulls account, with the Female Lead being decidedly not into it or seeming to even know about it for most of the story. Which gives the dev opportunity to show other female characters having sex/being lewd without degrading the MC to the audience.)
The caveat here is, as should really go unsaid but some people don't seem to understand, is that it's bad unless it's done well.
(Another notable exception that proves the rule is - at-least so far as I've seen - Never Trust Reality or NTROS, but the core conceit there isn't the GF cheating, it's that the spying method is way more then just that. and it makes it reasonably clear where the fourth wall is.)
