Given the discussions around the "Math Path"/NTR path, I commented in the developer's Patreon feed regarding a critique of some of the character development and a comparison and contrast with the full NTR and NTS story lines:
As an example: If you were under the impression than Math was a decent guy at first and it turns out he is a control freak and physically dominates your wife, and now, no matter how aroused you initially were, you might come to the conclusion that it is undermining your relationship and his proximity to the love of your life is now not sitting well with you.
I am all for the MC "chilling" as long as the MC AND Lily are in TOTAL agreement on what they BOTH want. In this type of relationship dynamic, where both partners are newlywed and consistently professing their undying love for one another, if either partner is or becomes uncomfortable with anything or anyone, there must be a mutual understanding and agreement to end said "anything" and break off relations with "anyone" without animosity. Otherwise the relationship degrades and becomes something less than it was.
Love is not enough to keep people together, otherwise there wouldn't be breakups and divorce. If there is a path for the Math dominance route where the MC can tell Lily he is uncomfortable with the developments and Lily is being a loving wife, then she should be supportive and agree to other options at any time. Yes, I realize this is part of the "Math was not rough with Lily" although it limits the scenes and character depth development due to it's linearity. One of the issues I have with this particular path/story-line is the gaslighting by Lily when the MC confronts her about the pictures posted that are obviously her (Hell, even the earrings match), and in doing so, Lily is not only betraying the MC's trust, she is contradicting her statements of loyalty and love to the MC from earlier. This utter lack of open communication and denial of events takes us fairly far off the NTS course. I am not saying I am anti-NTR. It just seems to be a contradiction in the character development to this point in the story as well as a complete betrayal of the foundation of a new marriage, regardless of where the experiment started.
Even if Lily was getting "caught up in the moment" and taking full advantage of the trust and freedom our MC has given her, she needs to come clean at some point about the pictures and events surrounding them or else this marriage would be over before it really even began. Even a full beta-cuck would want to know the details...I mean how else would they know enough to be aroused by it all? And, I do NOT get the impression our MC is a beta-cuck at all.
I would absolutely enjoy Lily coming clean on the redacted pictures at some point and feeling the guilt and remorse a truly loving wife would feel so they could come back to center and continue to enjoy the experience of Lily having sex with Math (and/or others) without the gaslighting, lying, and outright betrayal. Because, ultimately, without communication, (even after the fact), it is just plain old cheating, and where's the fun in that?
