While I doubt "friends" is the right word to use, I could see there being a kind of community sharing concerning custom characters. While this depends on exactly how in-depth the character creation system is, I think with enough customizability it could very well be a thing to share it on a forum thread dedicated to the topic. I mean, look at character sharing in modded Skyrim or Sims 4.
I honestly haven't bothered trying this game out because it seems rather bare bones but there's definitely potential for character sharing...
Just not with your mates.
People share their characters to strangers, I mean, Artificial Girl and those games literally sell themselves on being able to share your characters.
However, I've never seen any of those games advertise "Share your personal fantasy of a fuckable girl with your friends!".
Its about sharing with strangers and gaining internet "fame" (Or infamy), its not tied with your real life identity, but rather your online one.
Porn is still taboo and something to be "ashamed" of in many peoples eyes, look at the bloke that made those rather interesting Simply Mindy games (Dont remember the name), they're basically a slave trainer game with pixel art porn. The bloke making the game ended up closing down his Patreon because he was tired of lying to his family about what he really did, it put a strain on his marriage because his wife also felt like she had to lie. Not only that, he had begun to see a lot of porn topics as normal every day topics to talk about, rather than something to enjoy on your own time.
In the end, I dont think trying to sell the character creator on the premise you can show off your personal taste in women with your friends is a good way of gaining support. However, I am nitpicking, I know that, I can easily see people taking the "share your character", as "I can share what I make with the community" rather than "I can share with friends".
Either way, theres loads of other games out there with character generators/customizers, so its not really a huge selling point (to me at least). They're a dime a dozen.
