VN - Ren'Py - Nyatorase: Shared Passions [v0.03] [SadCat]

Nyatorase has all the hallmarks of a stronger entry than many of its fellows. With great dialogue frequent updates, and good art direction almost anything is possible. Its a wholesome Netorase game.

I am hoping to see where it goes. As is standard this is an in-review ratings.

I seem to be writing a lot of reviews lately for AI-games, so let's get cracking on this one.

The good:

- Unique take on the whole Netorase theme by having a big titty goth catgirl as a wife.
- Regular updates (so far)

The bad:

- I played this game when it came out in December. Played it's 2nd update yesterday and... where the fuck is the content? I pressed skip for not even 30 seconds and I got to the end... That's extremely disappointing to see in 2 months! By the time I pulled my pants down, it was over.
- Too many inconsistencies with this specific art style. Some of the characters just look out of place.
- I really really really dislike the use of showing an AI generated picture in a different resolution on the screen, unless it's for the phone application to show the user the bigger image. To me, this shouts laziness. Is it too hard to generate an image in the resolution of the game? 1920x1080? Others can do it, so why can't you? Most of the game is done this why, so why take shortcuts with specific images?
- I like the use of visual effects like the kiss, but at least... turn it off after? It's on the screen for way too long and just looks lazy.
- Why do are these choices in this game? There's no player agency, I'd much prefer a kinetic novel over this type of choice-based game as what you choose only makes you either see more content or not. Was the developer too lazy to put images in the other option?
Option A - gets you a new image! Yay!
Option B - Gets you nothing. Fuck you for picking that option.

I mean... what's the point?

Conclusion:

When this game came out, I had a lot of faith in it! It looked good and even though it was a demo, it showed promise. Now it feels like the subsequent updates are... smaller than the demo. I was honestly expecting more at this point, because at this point in time, the game is over before you even start playing it. The choices don't matter and only influence whether you see extra images or not.

Considering the popularity this game has and the following it has gotten on Patreon, I was really expecting way more from this developer. The updates are barebones and while they are coming out, you'd have to wait for 6 months to even have enough content to play for more than 1 minute.

Pros:

• Cosmetics toggle option for tattoos.
• Pacing is good, characters are being rushed into events so scenes can happen but not at the expense of their development.

Cons:

• Crashes and graphical bugs, not sure how long the lipstick smears were intended to last, but having it to the point of blocking the character sprites is too much.
• Having characters with very different art styles on screen at the same time can be jarring to look at.
• Choices seem to exist only to lock out content, rather than customizing the experience, slightly frustrating to have to guess the right option to avoid losing out on scenes.
• Racist themes can be off putting, characters constantly talk about ethnic superiority and dehumanizing slurs during scenes.
• Non functional gallery.

Just a lovely game, I had pretty much forsaken AI games as a whole since most of them felt like they're was little to no effort actually going into them.

This one, being a Netorase (NTS) game convinced me to give it a whirl!

It's just lovely, the art feels great, unique and fun characters that you just want to see more of.

The writing feels great, it's a great little NTS story where the wife is truly devoted to her husband and the two of them can indulge in their fantasies together

Really looking forward to where this goes and hoping we see this DEV make more of this kind of content

I'm not a huge fan of hardcore NTR/NET but this one is lighter with both parties being consensual which is a lot better for me.

Reviewing as of 0.02

Pros:

• Characters are well-made
• SFX and VFX are good
• Around 30 minutes to complete
• There are a few choices that slightly change the scene(s)
• The dialogue is sweet and charming

Cons:

• Gallery is present but it doesn't work
• No animations

Conclusion:

You can play this but there isn't much here right now. I'd maybe wait a few updates to get a real feel for this game but it looks promising.

So far it is going great. Character design is great and most importantly unique, game lives up to the expectations of what you expect from a ntr genre. Dialogs and writing is believable (Of course things are happening with porn logic, but still it is fun to read).

I am quite excited for next updates!

Amazing game - great art, AMAZING WRITING, and PERFECT PACING.

This game just had its second update. I expected for this game to be glazed over by thicc kitty simps, but I loved the writing so much.

I came to both of the patches because I loved them so much.

The pacing was perfect, FMC didn't get corrupted too fast or too slow. She knows who she is the entire time and is a very confident character which makes her so hot - she feels like a real girlfriend that wants to cuck you because she loves you.

The game whilst in its early stages (V0.02) has a lot of promise for a visual novel. The option to toggle certain kinks such as tattoos and humiliation level is a really nice addition.

Whilst the initial setup feels pretty unrealistic and rushed, it does allow for the overall story to start in a way that get right into the action. The story so far is both kinky and wholesome. When your wife’s boundaries are crossed the fact both you and her react in a very realistic and companionate way really helps sell the characters and their relationship (especially when compared to some other games).

The Art style especially for AI art is amazing and all of the girls incredible with their own unique appeal without going too far into their niche to be unappealing to a broader audience. The CG’s all look incredibly and work amazingly to go alongside the story. The moans and SFX whilst at times can be a little over the top really helps sell the scenes.

I did note some minor issues with tattoos not being fully consistent, with sometimes the leg and boob tattoo missing. There are also some minor spelling issues (e.g. using where instead of wear) but overall, nothing major.

The biggest issue I have is that during the H-scenes all the CG’s feel extra stiff when compared to the rest of the game. During normal dialogue the girls mouth expressions will change to help sell some level of movement, whilst during most H-scenes there is little to nothing; no cum shots, no sweat, no mouth changes or any other easily addable overlays or elements.

Overall, the game is amazing , both the art and writing and seems like it will only continue to get even better as time goes on. I just hope the Dev continues to have the same level of passion and motivation they currently have. [4 ½ stars]

My Impressions of Version 0.02

So far, so good. I like the emphasis on love and the bond between our hero and his wife. I'm not personally a fan of interracial play or any race play, but that's just personal preference. That's why I appreciate the option to disable tattoos on one of the characters.

The option to decide whether we're interested in being humiliated as part of a certain role-play with our wife is also worth mentioning. Personally, I think the more choices the better.

The art is fantastic and I can't wait for more updates.

V0.01: Has a lot of potential. The cat wife is super hot and the creator has a combination of elements that helps elevate eachother. For example, the dirty talk is something i pay attention to in anything and this creator is one of few that knows how to use it given what hes working with. The scenes were pretty awesome too. He knows how to finesse it like using phones and mc imagination. Also, it has sound too, which is one of the most important things that can be added as it helps improve these type of games significantly in regards to experience. Overall, I definitely want to see more!

I like it, MC's wife is really sexy and there is a really erotic theme to it all even for such an early release, of course the whole theme is sharing, but of the NTS kind, so there is teasing and femdom (think the dev plans to make humiliation etc. a choice), but overall still love for the main couple, some really sexy kinks and of course two strong contrasts for the bulls and girls that have clearly gone through strong transformations, but hopefully we see other girls to influence the wife and of course other bulls too, the wife being a seductive cat girl is a really nice touch on top of it all, interesting start dev, I shall watch on to see what happens!

I have never left a review before but I have to let you know that you made a great job capturing the whole "netorase" vibe from this demo. Amazing visuals as well as sceens. I look forward for your future updates

Promising start, I found the contrasting side-friends charming, the FMC looks different too, in a good way, the sex scenes have sound so that's a big plus and the lipstick stains left after the kiss are something I haven't seen yet, either way a great start.

The game shows great promise so far! Katherine is absolutely stunning, and I can already see the potential in the other kinks and characters. That said, I feel like the introduction could use a bit more development—it comes across as slightly rushed. However, given that this is still a very early version (V0.01 as of writing), there's plenty of room for improvement. I'm genuinely excited to see where this goes.

The game is still very early in development, Though it has well designed characters and its own charm.

It definitely has promise to be an exciting Netorase game in a few updates. I am looking forward to seeing where it goes from here.
