VN - Ren'Py - Abandoned - Oblus [Episode 1] [Chasse]

What a romping adventure. Some of the dialogue was a little too modern, but the pacing, the characters, the adventure. I didn't want it to end. I cannot wait for more, more, more! Good show!

Episode 1 is a meaty chunk of story telling that introduces the world, important characters and political environment. The story telling is well paced, character development is structured, logical and well timed, and the 3D art is gorgeous and professional. Kudos to the developer on bringing their vision to life in such a breath taking manner. A must play.

One minor suggestion is that the MC is initially a bit too lippy for their position, particularly in a world where people have their own ambitions, agenda and egos. Once relationships are better established between characters does the banter make more sense.

My other hope is that the conflicts between the two major families is nuanced and morally ambiguous. It would detract from the story if one was shown to be mustache twirling, cat stroking megalomaniacs doing evil for selfish reasons.

Great first episode can't wait for future episodes. Interesting story with good characters and graphics to go along with it, I hope you can make consistent updates for the game. Best of luck and hoping you continue the game

Review based on Episode 1.

The game shows high quality in almost all aspect.
The renders look great (no sex scene yet), grammar is ok, the world is shaping up to be interesting.

The reason for my low rating is only one, the MC and some other characters all total retards. And not in a funny way.
MC lives in a small village, that can explain him being not familiar with some things but he is so ignorant that sometimes he is comparable to a newborn. Or someone mentally handicapped.
His friend and others in the village at least heard about knights and such!
After the army camp is attacked by a monster, I could understand him being afraid and shocked but he is thinking that maybe it would have been good if he was killed by it because if there are monsters then MAYBE there are worse things too. What kind of stupid logic is that?
When he learns about the treatment of the pink-eyes he tries asking about what a pink-eye is maybe once, then let's it go as if it wasn't something important to do with him.
When he meets Esmond, he immediately accepts what he says and sides with him. MC doesn't know anything at all about the situation in the country but after speaking with the guy who threatened him and bound him up he immediately decides that Esmond should take the throne. WTF?

There are some other similarly stupid things too.
The mandatory conscription where only people are conscripted who accidentally go near to the desk of the enlistment officer. If there is a mandatory conscription for all registered citizens then why don't the army people know how many people there are who should be enlisted and who they are?
The whole army training is a joke. MC is constantly late from everywhere but nobody punishes him because of it.
Madeleine, after establishing that he should treat her ash his superior and should call her Madam, he never does that again and is totally informal with her.
For many people these are probably minor things and not that important in an adult game. Me however find it's a shame because if dev made these parts more authentic and believable then this could be a game that's worth playing also because of the story and not only fore the future sex scenes.

Oblus begins very slow and, in my opinion, a bit too wordy at first. However, the longer I played, I became more involved in the story and background. Upon finishing Episode 1, I must say this is one of the most engaging games I've played from this site.

Please note, there is currently no sex or nudity which is OK in my book as I enjoy slow burning stories. Character and renders are excellent and attractive.

I'm far more interested in adult stories as opposed to simple porn and this game has an well thought out developing story. Of course only time will tell if this continues to hold interest; but so far, an excellent beginning!

Pros :
-Very good and original story, specially the intro, it's enough to get you hooked.
-Great graphics, specially the landscape. Helps make me feel like I'm playing a triple A game only to later realize it's a porno.
-Good tags for the average fapper.
-The animations will probably be smooth in the next chapters also since we saw some demonstration of MC working out
-The girls look great, but could be a bit thiccer for my taste.
-The way this is going, it seems there will be a lot of character developement including the MC himself.
-This is perhaps my favourite part, the music, I just wanna say, dev, you've got a great taste in music. The music combined with the landscapes gave a very medieval feeling to the game. I'm immersed!


Cons:
-MC looks like slender man himself. Grow a beard atleast, jeez.
-There's a chess game with 0 hints. How will people who don't know how to play chess complete the step? I hope there won't be minigames without hints in the future.
-Idk if it's because I play on phone but the texts are out of the text box. And sometimes the white texts can't be read infront of other white objects or the sunlight.
-Too short for now (chapter 1), and no sex scene yet
-I need more thicc goddamn it

This game is utterly amazing. I loved every second of it. There are only two small flaws with the game. One, there are too many unnecessary and misplaced commas. And two, there are some misspelled words, some of which were just typos. I almost always look for games with a lot of sexual content, but a game like this is a real treat. I recommend it to anyone.

A very solid knightly novel with good graphics and a plot. Technically done very soundly, it feels that the theme is interesting to the creator and he enjoys the creative process. I can recommend to all lovers of solid stories about knights. I really hope that every update will only get better. Thank you.

Good premise to a game, great graphics, the writer looks like he has a plan. With the first release he concentrates on fleshing out of the backstory and charactor.
I wish more DEVs took their time and brought the game to us like this instead of crappy, choppy, bullcrap with a lewd scene or two that isn't believable and a hand reaching out for money.
He's given us an interesting story that captivates and leaves me looking forward to more. Very pleased and satisfied with the work being presented here.

A nice start of a medieval game with supernatural elements in it.

The story is interesting it has monster and class based knight system like one punch man
So it is a mixture of one punch man and game of thrones
Models- Oh yeah models are fresh outta oven and they are HAWT and they are some beauties with variations. Renders are good too.

Writing - writing is good but sometimes there are stuff that needs to be minimized I hope you focus on it in future
for a first release it was long enough
Definitely has potential and worth it to give it a try
I hope dev keeps this up and focus on story

The game has a interesting story. Seems like a kinetic novel. As far now you don't have many choices. There are a lot text for reading and understanding the story. If you want to try this game you need to know there are no sexual things for now. Play the game accordingly. In my opinion the game appears that it won't just for full of adult contents. There are some stories. The dev reveals to us some of them.

Story : Yes maybe you will be tired of reading all of those texts. But most of them it's significant for the story. It was an interesting choice to sort them into different classes according to their eyes. But I like that. I hope story is not getting bad. There is so much potential

Renders : Renders are very good .

Characters : as first improssion there are lot characters for first version of the game. But each character has its own personalities.

But I warn you again. If you came for adult contents the game is not for you. There is even no one peek. Because MC hasn't any sexual desires to any woman for now.
