Hi guys,

I'm having an issue here. I am trying to render the NGV7 asset with the Octane Render, but when I add it as "Auto material," I get this weird outline. I am not sure how to resolve it. Any help,, please? It is much appreciated!

Did you try to change the "ray epsilon" in the render settings? Sometimes you will have to fiddle around with those settings to get rid of those ugly gaps. Or maybe it's a displacement on that material? Then you have to change the settings directly in the settings of the material for the displacement - you may set the "mid level" to 0.5 or similar.

It worked! It seems to have been related to the displacement settings. So I had to adjust it and now it's gone! Thank you so much.

Nothing to add. But I didn't even know Octane was a thing for Daz anymore. I know many are still using it for Blender, but thought they killed the Daz side of their stuff.

I'm using the most stable version, which was released on Jan 15th, 2024. It seems it's slowly coming back. There is still a lot of work to be done with it, though.
