And, while you 'play as a female', does the game constantly harp about how much your character wishes he had his dick back, or how 'weird it feels to be in a female body'? Doesn't sound very 'female protagonist' to me. Again, the story is told from the perspective of a male, unless and until you raise your 'femininity' enough to 'be comfortable in a female body' your character will constantly bitch about how 'weird' it is to 'be female'. That is not a 'female protagonist' game. It's simply a 'transformation' game, and that's fine. Not true, a lot of games tagged transformation where player switches between Male and Female have both tags as you do play as a female
I'm just really sick of people erroniously adding the 'female protagonist' tag to games where your character clearly is not an actual female. Even if you fully transition, the game will constantly reference how you 'used to be a guy', and in most sexual situations your character gets their pooper pounded despite having shiny new girly bits to play with.
Based on my search preferences, there's already only 10 or so pages worth of games that meet those preferences. Over half of those pages are several years old, and completely abandoned. Then, out of the maybe 2-3 pages that are left, at least half of them are not 'female protagonist' games, but are instead games where you play as John Hasacock who has the possibility of getting trapped in a girls body - and then constantly bitching about it.
If I search for 'female protagonist', it means I want to play as a female protagonist. Not that I want to play as a dude who can become a girl after several hours of in-game activity.
