I don't mind the premise, but as is its a huge time waster, its not just kinetic, its the worst kind of kinetic, the walking simulator kind where you never think, just click between the empty locations in the same repeating sequence to make the story advance. And save often, becasue do anything differently and your up for loading to escape a black screen.

Yeah. That's already coded in. For this alpha release I wanted people to get familiar with the world and explore where they are. For that reason I've kept a set path for now. But the choices will keep on increasing from next updates. Different choices will lead to completely different outcomes.

If you want to keep it linear and a set path for now you can do that but then it kinda needs a back button. If not you're going to end up with some of these dead end bugs due to the fact that things have to be done in a particular sequence or it possibly breaks the game in its current state.

I was stuck to had to open the html file and had to dig in the code to add the passing of time code in the spend time at the beach event.

No it does go upto day 16 if you get past day 13. This has the html with the changes I made

You don't need to use anything, this is HTML, it runs even on a calculator.

Just move the game folder into Chrome's download folder>Press the HTML file>Open as>Chrome.
