You play as an older male author who hears from a dying ex-girlfriend that he has a daughter. He finds the young woman; she is not his daughter, but he helps her anyway. She becomes his assistant and lives with him, romance ensues. He gets hit by a car; the mayor of the town is a criminal; that's about all I can remember. Any ideas?
