As site417 already said it, the way you come off is a little weird but why would anyone hate you because of that?
Just try to be less of a snowflake, question if the importance of "writing/plot" in 3dx is actually as important as you make it out to be and you'll be just fine.
I'm pretty sure you will reach more people through "free" channels, which in turn will generate more traction for your work and you as an author. That's when the money will start rolling in. That is, if people do actually appreciate your work.
