VN - Ren'Py - Completed - Once in a Lifetime [v1.0] [Caribdis]

This game is absolutely phenomenal (In my own opinion)

The Story is extremely interesting and hooks you in. It takes some turns and you are given extremely important choices, Hospital for example. Characters are great and the game is funny as fuck. Even the male characters are good which is rare in a VN, i.e. MC, Jack, Mike, Later game Tom, list goes on.
Some story elements are genuinely brilliant, The Spray for example.

So here's why I give it the full 5 stars:

• Renders and animations are spot on
• Characters are designed well on the aesthetic aspects and story aspects
• The story is fantastic and interesting
• The English is perfect and the story is written brilliantly
• The humour is perhaps the best thing in this game (Apart from the girls)

For me, This games makes it into my top 5 games currently being developed. I strongly recommend playing this and supporting the development if its a viable option for you

This game is dooooope! Judy and Lauren are probably two of the most exciting girls to hook up on this kind of graphic novels. The story is compellign and looking forward for this game to get finished. Also loved the artstyle.

OK, i don't let a lot a review, cause few game really took me that far, the story is simple, but interesting, it has turn and turn over, and as simple it is, it does the work I just started the Game to finish it in the same day, returning to it every time!

This game is all around great. I can't find any flaws as of 0.8. Models and renders are good for honey select. The humor... man it's great, I laughed so many times playing this game and it doesn't just come from the dialogue, the good usage of sounds effects and visual effects helps a lot.

Concerning the sex scenes, it's a great balance in terms of quality and quantity. Facial expressions used, transitions, dialogue, possibility to change angle, possibility to change speed and multiple poses. You won't have for exemple 10 sex scenes per character and it doesn't need to have this many because each scene is really well made. To give you an idea as of 0.8, you have 1-2 sex scenes ( talking about penetration scenes ) with 6 out of 7 characters. They also blend in the story, which is interesting enough and kept me curious.

All around a great game I recommend

This is probably my favourite game on this site. Legitimately laugh out loud funny without being obnoxious, interesting setting that manages to be creepy without taking itself too seriously, and hot as hell girls. Seriously. So hot.

Absolute best game, decent renders, a funny yet torrential storyline and the MC is hung so what else can we wait from a game? I would give solid 10/10 and props to the developer that continues its pace to the perfection every single update, thus, congratz on that too!

Funny. Good and exellent story with many twists. MC is a normal guy, no super hero or something. The girls have an interesting character development. One of my favourit games here. A little minus: the XXX-scenes are a little short. But for me it dosn't matter.

Forgot to review this masterpiece. If you like mystery, along with family bond plus huge tons of comedy (that doesn't overwrite the flow the story) then this game is to you. It is a great game at all levels, worth to play. Gave me quite some hours of pure fun.

The game is really fun. I can only recommend it. The characters are well thought out and you can see that they have their own personality. There are a lot of funny scenes and ther are a lot of h-scenes. I am looking forward to the next version.

Played the game and thought it was overall really good. What i usually notice in these types of games is that the writing in combination with how interesting / creative the story is really makes up a huge portion of what makes this type of game good. Usually there are a lot of games with moments where you just get extremely bored and tired of reading and skip text all the time, but this game made me not do it. There was always something new happening.

This game GETS IT. You don't need gaudy ass CGI and plastic pornstars, you just need credible human characters and good writing.

Give me a game with a soul like this over any of the 2020 cookie cutter releases.

This game easily deserves full 5/5. Once of the funniest and the best games I have ever played. Even without porn I can recommend this game.

My review is lightly spoily so you reader can understand what this game is and what one major issue it has.

What first starts as yet another high school simulator with a hot (step-)mom and two (step-)sisters turns slowly into something completely else. You will meet Nazis in prison, zombies will try to eat you, ninjas are after you, you feint a hearth attack when discovered in girls locker room, ancient evil is after you while you evade a bully in your school. Also your (step-)sister are total bad-asses!
The best thing is this all functions well and doesn't fall apart.

The problem is porn. There are something like 20 scenes and I only got 3. How is that possible you ask? Well in order to have sex with desired character you need roughly 80% of all possibly likes in game. Getting half is easy but 80%? Not so. First you will get a couple of naughty scenes but if you fail piling up likes you will miss all rest of sex scenes! You might think you are doing well but in reality you just missed most of the content. The only way game lets you know this is that characters either refuses or nothing happens at a perfect opportunity.
This means you have to use walktrough or have a dry game. Kind of bad game design in my mind :/

Anyway, this game is really good so you should still play it.

So I wasn't expecting to enjoy this as much as I did, and I have some critiques hoping it'll get even better. My first playthorugh I did what I always do, just went with what I would in real life, and I ended up just banging Jasmine (iirc? the posh chick) with loads of teasing with the step-sisters which was fun. I really appreciated the variety (saw after going through again actually trying to bang everyone) but when going down my original path, there's an obvious lack of dialogue. I really enjoyed the humor and wasn't expecting to get scared (then laugh) as much as I did, I just found myself wishing for more of the main cast shooting the shit and having some fun group stuff. There's also a sort of info-dump at one point, and the game feels like it loses it's charm a little bit - days just kinda push through for the sake of the plot rather than filling it with some dialogue/slice of life stuff so it feels rushed (specifically after the cathedral and getting into travels/international gun smuggling?? lol). There were also clear moments where the game just skipped ahead a full day because I wasn't already banging one of the characters by that point, for example. I think more dialogue is what's missing most of all, and there's plenty of areas for it as well - at home after school (including some more trivia/netflix/couch teasing/studies/etc), on the train (coming back from the cathedral/going to airport stood out) or during the flight (I mean, mile high club/teasing anyone??). Overall, this game is up there with Waifu Academy for me minus the amount of dialogue. That said, I think it's understandable, as it's clear the dev focused a lot more on working the scenery, clothing and characters and did a great job at it; I just found myself wishing for more to read throughout the game.

Wow this game one of the best plots in a sex game I've played. I would almost be convinced to play it even without the sex scenes, that's how good it is. On top of that the character designs of the girls are very beautiful and custom. It doesn't look like the stock models that you see in other games. The pacing is great and the game let's you get to the know there characters before throwing into a sex scene. Very well done. My only suggestions would be to add a few more animated angles during sex scenes so that you can really satisfy the anticipation.

Simple VN style game with an engaging story, hot characters with some personalities, and overall a great game experience. The game doesn't try to do too much and keeps your attention. Mixes in a good amount of humor, sex scenes and actual plot. Looking forward to further updates and more work from dev.

This game is a gem!
I've first tried it with version 0.7.2 and it instantly became one of y favorites.

The game was made with Honey Select, so the graphics might look outdated compared to DAZ games, but Honey Select games have their own charm. Also amongst HS games this one has great graphics. The models are super sexy and cute in multiple sexy clothing, there are lots of varied environments, the sex scenes are hot.
As for the writing, it is the best part of the game.
The game is about a young guy in high school who is not a total looser but also not very popular. He needs to improve his grades so he can get into a prestigious university so he needs to take some private lessons from his super smart sisters (patched version) and his hot teacher during which he will get closer to them.
Additionally he will get involved with a mysterious and sinister organization out for world domination and it will fall on him and his sisters to stop them.
None of the above is something we've never seen before in other games, what makes this game great however is the great humor and great characters. This is a lighthearted game with lot of unrealistic things not to be taken too seriously, but there are some scenes that could come right from some horror game.
So the story is interesting and funny enough to keep you wanting more of it while you are trying to be sexually involved with as many hot women as possible.

Update for the final version: The game didn't disappoint. The humor kept up till the end, there were thrilling scenes that you wouldn't expect from an erotic VN and the sex scenes got even more sexy.

If I have to bring up something negative, then the final confrontation against the main villain was a bit underwhelming and I'd have loved to see some threesome/foursome scenes involving Carla and Rebecca on the harem path. The other girls all had theirs but not Carla and Rebecca.
Also maybe the Astaroth ending could have had a scene with the corrupted girls.

Other than these the game is close to perfect and I can't wait for the developers next project.

Playtime: about 12-16 hours.

Characters: The protagonist, his 2 sisters, his mother, his teacher, about 8 other mostly random people. There are 3 main love interests and another 4-5 side-girls. If you want, you can get every single h-scene in a single playthrough. There are 20 of them and about half have minor animations.

Fetishes: A LOT of incest. Almost every single h-scene has to do with incest. Otherwise, mostly vanilla. Handjobs, blowjobs, normal M/F sex. There is one very short non-con scene but you have to go out of your way to see it.

Story: Yep, it's pretty good. Underground conspiracies, scary cults, multiple artifacts that promise eternal life, and so on. There's even a short horror-like scene that feels straight out of Resident Evil.

Overall: Pretty good. Definately 10/10 at the start, tapered down to maybe a 9/10 near the end. My favorite thing about this VN were some of the awesome side-characters and the writer's delightful, cheeky sense of humor.
