Review of Ch. 5 Add.1 - SPECIAL EDITION. This is for sure a unique product, unfortunately I doubt it'll get enough money to continue, so if you can donate it'll be great!!

A daring and brave idea, which unfortunately I think is doomed to failure:

He would need too much funding (for what is an indie project) not only for the project to go ahead, but for him to pay the actresses enough to make the game "interesting" in the long run. Currently he can make a living showing off some boobs and suggestive poses. But it would have to evolve sooner or later.

I doubt that in any case, even in the most financially favorable, the lead actress is willing to shoot certain scenes. Saying it clearly, it will never be a porn game, only erotic.

Already today, the Dev is interested in launching other more "traditional" games (cgi), probably looking for an easier way when realizing the intrinsic difficulties of this project due to things like those mentioned above. Perhaps he have taken the opportunity to make herself known with this? maybe...

I hope the game continues to develop (it's great as an initial premise NOW), but sadly I doubt this will come to fruition or not end up mediocre.

Well, it is really interesting, I won't say it's perfect, but is the first game i see with real actors, so 5 stars for sure.
Could use some diferent songs(you kinda get dizzy of hearing the same thing for too long), but i understand that as a new and soo far low budget project, it's difficult to add songs to it.
So far i'll keep in track of new updates but it does seem promising

The developers using real actors and not stole pictures from internet is great, they show emotions, the girls are really hot, the kind of russian girls we all love. The big con for me is that looks like they don't plan in add sexual content, looks like the most we will see are the boobs and the girl's asses, not pussy, not explicit sex like handjobs, blowjobs, etc. There is an sex scene but is what you can see in any Soft Porn Movie and for me that is a big waste of pretty girls, is a shame because with that this game could be a money maker, it just need to add explicit sex and it could be a huge success.

I was positivley surprised with this game and i found using real people for a VN works for me very well. Especially the facial emotions are more immersive. The actors are all good and the girls are beautyful too...just lets see how brave they are in future content......Anyway its a great idea using real models for VN's and may also short integrated animations (real recorded mp4 i.E.) would work if dev wants to try. Really a brave approach and it keeps me interested.

I think developers need to rethink their marketing

They offer a new style in game development that can become the most popular style of game development
And also the most money-making

But despite their ability to release updates faster than other developers, we see the release of updates late
It seems that they do not intend to expose the forbidden part of the body, which I personally do not like
The prices offered in Patreon are irrational


If they do the job with just a few months of hot updates and soon, it will surely become top trend.

Really exciting story.
I am looking forward to another episodes.
The model look great, and creator know how to slowly build excitement in the reader. So in my eyes this deserve five stars and place in my "watchlist".

awesome game, state of the art, none did this before with own photoshoots, really like the story and photographs, dev deserves more cashflow to be able to continue the project, please consider a subscription

Nothing like this has ever been done here before and I think they should get mad props for that. Also I this story is a brave one as handling the matter of Autism and sex drive is a tough one. I think is makes the story super relevant to our times.

People would. and will support your work fully if you where creating sex scenes. People here feel like you are just baiting them. and not actually doing anything. This Is just criticism you should take into account.

The game is starting great. The photos are taken for the game, so it is not a mixture of various porn photos. Quality of the photos is superb. The girls are hot, the guys could be better, but who is interested in them anyways?
Hope the impact of the decision will become more obvious in later versions.

Taking so much time to see a few photos with barely few options in dialogs which are leading to one more photo as result. It would be nice if there were girls, but there the guy does push-ups... This is like game you can click trough in less than 10 minutes but has to wait weeks for new release that brings almost no content. There is no point to wait for updates, there is no point in buying a patreon version because of two photos in the style of a photo shoot. Very intrigued at the very beginning and complete disappointment now.

Very unique and sexy game! What most bashers don’t realize is that real photos are being done specifically this game — real world actors are acting this out. I am personally intrigued and loving the female protagonist perspective (who’s very cute). Looking forward to see how far it will go and am backing the project on Patreon because it’s one of the more promising games on here. Ignore the haters dev and keep on making this game!

The worst game I've ever seen! It looks like erotic crafts of the 2000s.. The main character is terrible, . Perhaps the game would have looked better if not for the stupid main character and there would have been a first-person view. It's not even worth wasting time and money on this trash.

Really good work so far, the story is cliche but an original story has never been a requirement for adult games, outside of that, the images are well used and have a lot of variety in scenes. The girls are great, hope to see more of the milf. The game as it is is a great project so far. It is well put together and hope the dev all the best for the future. Most of the bad reviews seem to be based on what hasn't been added to the game or what isn't going to be added to the game which shows how absurd people's expectations are

While everyone has different tastes, I would advise people to try the VN for themselves and decide rather than other people saying it "isn't sexy" for them. Either way, definitely recommended.

I don't know why a developer makes a game without sexy content. And in general, why release such games to the public? I myself am Russian and read the entire text and looked at everything that is in this game. The game is very short if the developer says that a lot of money is needed for EVERYTHING and the project does not bring profit even for PATREON. ALL big projects are famous for their sexy content. Even if there is no porn in the game. But erotic content should be real. The game is boring. The models are beautiful. The plot is banal and simple. I don't know why to create games of this genre ..

I was surprised by how much I got into this. Another reviewer mentioned that it was because you knew the actress/actor were aware of the story; I think that's part of it.

The banner pic on this thread doesn't do the actress justice. All of the casting is good, actually, although I think the mom/aunt/whatever walking around in a leather skirt/shirt is a bit ... Eastern European, maybe.

The story is short. I think they should halve the number of interstitial pictures (e.g., everyone changing expression a dozen times during casual conversations) and double the amount of story covered.

Very curious how far this one goes.

Once Upon a Time in Dream Town (ch. 5 version) is a pretty decent game. Each chapter is a bit short and has few choices, but I can understand that due to the need to work with real actors to take the photos and such. We can play with both the boy and the girl, but truth be told, so far the girl has more content and is more aware of how the story goes. Probably, in the long run, both stories will complement each other, but right now I'd play only the girl, or instead first the boy and then the girl. The story is uncommon in some ways and has some potential, but you only from the boy's side seems a bit forced, which makes sense later from the girl's side. Writing of the story though is quite irregular.

Obviously image quality plays on its own level due to it being real actors. Some takes are better acted than others, and sometimes lighting is a bit strange, but overall they are pretty well. Sex scenes so far are few, lack animations (should have a small loop of video tbh) and lack the polish they should have, but look well. And so far it lacks almost any sound, only on very specific occasions we have some.

So, as a general comment, I actually think this is a pretty good game, but am worried a bit on how they are going to go about the sex scenes moving forward.
