VN - Ren'Py - Completed - One Night Stand [v1.0] [ONS]

The story was so heartwarming & gentle. I was mesmerized by how absorbing the storytelling is, making it feel like an old man telling you a story of where his romance went. Developer did well creating this game, I'm wishing for it to be a little longer though. This game is so good that it's hard to forget

This short visual novel is definitely worth playing, with its well-written and engaging story, well-developed characters, fitting music, high-quality renders, and the absence of catering to any specific fetish group. Although some animations would have added an extra layer of excitement, it's not essential. The game showcases the developers' skills, passion, and commitment, making it a great representation of their work. I'm eager to see their future projects and wish them continued success.

A short novel that could launch the artists

This VN captured my attention due to the tone and the main image and a pleasant surprise was that the game was realised in that way.

The graphics are amazing, high texture. Also some of the background setup (hotel room, alley) are quite next level.

Story wise, it is a simple story, that evolves quite smoothly. The language is going beyond one line or simple English. Throughout the game I got the sense that MC is more complex then it shows. Also there are some loose ends that could easily develope into a new game, if the developers decide to come back to this idea

Might be one of the best short games I've played. Both the ambiance and the music of the game impress you. In fact, you can see how well a simple story is handled in this game. Although it is a short game, the choices you make affect the game and change certain scenes. Although the game did not have animation, the scenes were quite impressive. I can say that I like the style, ambiance and visuality of the game very much.

Although the game lasts for about 30 minutes, it really impresses you. I play snack games whenever I have time, but this was a game that I never wanted to end. You know, some movies and TV series take you away, you watch them as you watch and you don't want it to end; This game managed to create such a feeling in me. I played as I played, and in this short time I played, I never wanted the game to end. I felt like I had played the game for hours, not 30 minutes. In very rare productions, you lose your sense of time and dive into the beauty of the game. That's how successful our game has been.

Definitely a game that should be given a chance. I have no doubt that you will spend 30 minutes very productively. Our game has been produced by 2 people and they continue to make games under the name of "Studio ONS". I hope we can see much, much better games in the future. It was an extraordinarily impressive game for 30 minutes. I hope the producers can get support. While many people who make nonsense games receive support, I am very sorry that a team that makes such beautiful projects cannot receive support.

I have never given a short story 5 stars, but this one is so good in every way possible, I could not give it anything less.

Everything about this one was perfect. And the story did not feel rushed or incomplete. It felt like a proper story.

The two main characters of the story felt believable and well thought out. The tension between them was perfect.

Sex scenes 9/10 (There are a couple of scenes on different paths, and they were pretty damn sexy)

I'm normally not a fan of this noir tone for a story but I really enjoyed this game. Maybe because it was short enough to finish before the noir tone really started to annoy me.

The graphics are nice enough. The erotic scenes though short and not animated are hot. The dialogue is well written.

If I really want to nitpick, there were a few small inconsistencies in the story.
The game says the girl is in her early twenties but she look at least late twenties in my opinion.
The fact that a girl who goes to a bar and tries to convince herself to have a one night stand doesn't have anything to drink, or that the bartender doesn't offer her a drink after the Offer.
The fact that she doesn't even mention a condom. While I find unprotected sex in games hotter, I don't think it fits her personality or mental state.

Come for the boobs, stay for the plot.
Very nice story. The dialogues and description of the scenes are really well put together to make every scene very intense.
It's a really short novel, and I wish there was more explicit stuff leading to the final scene, but it was nice nonetheless.

Very good, but very short VN, and with only a few possible choices (and endings). Excellent story, great renders, very well written.
The only downside is really that you don't want it to end so soon. Well worth the download, even for only a 30 mins ride.

Short kinetic novel with some choices; choices determine if you will take the soft or hard approach with Elena.... the story even has a bad ending which I've encountered during my 1st playthrough.


It's nice to see the p.o.v. of both characters in this story and why both do the things they do.

Location and model renders are good and proportional correct; places and models are no copy/paste I think as I didn't encounter those in other VN's so far.

One can see that the dev. clearly took some time refining the models.
To bad (my personal opnion) that Elena doesn't have a nice landing strip or full bush down there.

The story pleasantly surprised me and I'm eager to see more stories.

It's a really loving story that treats itself seriously despite its short length. The feelings of both the male and female protagonists are conveyed convincingly and the sex scene is presented more like love and liberation other than mere lust, and the ending is also lovable. An amazing 20-30 minute AVN to play.

Really nice short story. Well written, though there are two or three him/her he/she mix ups, so just keep that in mind when those two or three sentences somehow don't make sense.
At least one of the endings is open-ended (I played through only once, so no idea about the other ending(s)), but some might consider that the "good" ending.

I do think the banner could use some work, though I suspect the creators won't bother with it. The title lettering with the placement of the lips is just a little too cheesy perhaps. It might fit better with the story if it looked a bit more like the paper from a notebook with the title in handwriting and the lips below that in a more mute shade (as if actually pressed against the paper). But, that's really just my personal opinion.

Overal, a very commendable VN for those who like short (20-30 minutes) slightly romantic stories.

The only downside I found is that it's a very short novel. This is exactly what it is, the story of two people who spent one night together and what it meant to them. I would love to know more about the characters and what happened to them afterwards.
Regardless, every other aspect of the game feels flawless to me. Renders, dialogues, narrations and music in combination with each other create a very deep and emotional picture of two damaged people trying to make it better for each other.

In my opinion this short visual novel is absolutely amazing. It feels quite intense in the emotions it wants to portray. The story, the setting and Elena are beautifully made and rendered. I'd love to see more of Elena in future. 10/10 would recommend. absolutely great job done and I look forward to seeing more from the creators.

I'd love to see more of these kinds of vignettes that offer some realism and some great renders to be enjoyed. I'd love to see a second date or, perhaps a daddy/daughter version of this.

It's a very good game. Good art, good story telling from both male and female perspective, good background music. A shame that it's short, leaves me wanting more after I have completed it.

Highly recommended if you want some melancholy feels. Couldn't rub one out as I was more focused on the story than the sex.

So far, it's pretty short, but it's beautiful, intriguing and realistic in many ways. Reading both POVs is a nice touch as it gives depth to the story.

I do hope it keeps up the quality writing-wise.

I would suggest a broader soundtrack, while I do like Moonlight Sonata a few more pieces/tunes would help a lot.

What a unique game this was, what an experience. The story is very nuanced and the thoughts and dialogue are extremely well described/written. The graphics are also very good. Highly recommended to play this game, this is the first time I have encountered this kind of game. Maybe this is the beginning of a new type of genre where there is not really a main protagonist. five stars deserved.

Wow, the overview doesn't do this VN enough justice, I doubt any overview would though. The unfolding story is slow burn done right, everything is nuanced, every word has a purpose. The renders are incredible, complementing the words completely, and they add to the overall intimacy of the piece. You feel the doubt, the want, the need of the 2 protagonists within a single frame, and that's rare.

Choices are few so far, but they do alter the course of the story quite significantly, so much so that you could already end up with a "game over".

This review could come across as gushing, but this VN does have the potential to be a true masterpiece if the quality shown in this early version (v0.2) is anything to go by.

TL;DR: Just download it!

Great game. The plot is simple but has great depth. Choices seem to influence the story direction a lot. The renders are very nice. The lighting is great too which is rare lets be honest lol. Really looking forward to more. Main route is surprisingly wholesome and meaningful (so far) the side route or DOM route is being set up to be more than just your generic male dom female sub route and might even be tastefully done. Remains to be seen how tings pan out as its all early but so far so good.

Really short, but quite erotic. Music direction is great. Good quality renders. Love the corruption theme of the MC. The storytelling is pretty great giving a good insight and hints over what is going through both of their minds. Looking forward to see the next update.

Edit: Finished the completed version of the game. Enjoyed playing it!
