I am not sure where to go after leaving parent's house and talking to the man on the bench. I went to Damian at the Pub (He's the Barkeep, right?) and back to the Stranger's house. Did not see anything to interact with in either location. Also: Why can't we sleep at home or at the Inn to recover health? It is very annoying to have to save scum in case I move onto the wrong patch of not always well-rendered ground and Die, because my HP is stuck at 10 or 20.
Otherwise, looks interesting so far!
