I've clearly underestimated how much people will hammer the mind altering effects. With great power comes great responsibility people!I noticed the if you give the flowers that make her forget, the headache value goes up by 8. Once it got above 30, it never went down or very very slowly.
Also had a question about the concentration stat over on HC and I thought my response might be useful to all:
Concentration actually reduces the negative effects of horniness. So normally becoming too honey would lock out being able to simply chat with Riley, or Calm her when she is upset. But if you boost your concentration it will allow you to have greater control over your actions. It also actually increases the chance of gaining more when training the other stats, so whilst you gain the least from it directly, it actually has the best overall effect.
I've deliberately not said these specifically in the game to keep a bit of mystery to how everything hangs together. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not, but I personally find games with clear cut rules feel less organic, and everything goes all min-max. Also I didn't want players feeling they had to micro manage everything, hence there being no actual money in the game either, and you can basically find everything in the game without ever building stats, they just make things easier/quicker.
In the same way all stats increase and decrease with an element of randomness. Getting a simple 1 point increase is guaranteed, but on some days you may get a 2, 3 or 5 point increase (or more for certain special actions) I like randomness in games so you are never too sure what each action is going to gain you, but I always try to make sure it's beneficial to the player in some way. Degrees of success rather than success/failure.
