as i said, there is nothing "new" worth mentioning. Everything interesting in the "romance-incest" department is pretty much in the list here, besides the fact that i think some games doesnt fit the discription most games in this list here do and are more or less the only good ones in this department too. And there arent many good ones for my taste... and the few good ones are in this list already. As i said, i hoped to see something fresh here, but there are no fresh good games for this particular taste (romance with incest)... and if i take a closer look at those games in the list, i kinda see why... it doesnt seem to be liked by many people, nearly every game from this list here is not really successful (with some exceptions, but those are rare) and most games will be abandoned at some point anyways, sadly.
I'd tend to disagree with the last point. Romance cest
used to get huge support from the start, pretty much no questions asked. So I'd say it was
very popular.
Thing is devs started inserting things unliked or hated, things that didn't go with cest romance, adding unasked for systems (like sandbox), their own kinks that were unpopular, forced LIs that were at times outright despised due to how they were written, ect. And all these things get added in mid development,
after devs got a solid start and a fanbase. It was like they tried to sneak them in. This led to feelings of betrayal because many supporters, if they knew those things were going to be added would likely have never supported them in the first place. Devs lost
a ton of trust by pulling shenanigans, dodging questions about content that now have to be asked due to so many devs inserting the things already stated (and more), playing fast and loose with tags, or outright lying to supporters as to what the game would be about. As a consequence, devs that pulled such things also lost support. Not shocking is it? Well it is to them for some reason. Also some devs just took the money and ran after an update or two. That or milking supporters, dragging out updates for months (sometimes
years).
So now there is an air of distrust thanks to the actions of some devs. Prospective supporters are now waiting for the shoe to drop so they are sparing with aforementioned support. Many are deciding to wait until a game is completed before even thinking of giving devs money. Support drying up means more and more AVNs will be abandoned, cause what dev wants to put in all that work without getting
something. Even if they are not really seeking monetary gains, I'm sure they still want people at least talking about their work.
