You're meant to be using the r power, that's why you're not dashing fast enough or dominating girls in one or two grabs. My only gripe with the game is that traveling across the world (especially in the caves) is trivial. If the bonfires worked as fast travel points, it would be much more tolerable. It's a great concept for a game, but considering that it's a finished game, it's very lackluster.
Thanks for this, came back to the game and that made it a lot more tolerable to play through. I still stand by my critique of that being a mechanic that is unexplained though, or at least poorly explained. Since it requires money to keep activated, you can't even test it at the start of the game, which led to me misinterpreting it as a healing tool when it only seemed to work after I'd lost health. And even after getting money, I didn't have a lot, so I didn't have it active long enough to realise it increased dashing speed. A mechanic left to interpretation like that is almost never a good thing in a game, since I doubt I'm the only one who thought it was just a heal trade-off; the more you get hit, the more you spend healing up again.
The developer could of at least put a pop-up on screen for anyone who tries to use it at the start of the game saying it requires money and that it does this, and that, etc- considering it's the game changer mechanic of the game, it kind of needs it. But yeah, if this is the final version... It's still absolutely meh.
Thanks for letting me know, I appreciate it.
