Seeking Open World or Sandbox-esque Games?

So I'm looking for things that are a bit more free form much like Breeders of Nephelym. Preferably 3D but hey I'll give most things a shot.

I'm a fan of Snow Daze, Summertime Saga (up to 16.1 at least haven't played since), Breeders of Nephelym. Linux support is a bonus but for everything else I have Wine. I'd like to say my tastes are vanilla but I'm afraid it's not that simple having been corrupted by the likes of Snow Daze.

If anyone could point me in the right direction that'd be great.

Mythic Manor so far completed. Unfortunately it's not as freeform as I would like (but still enjoyable, would recommend). Harem hotel also.

I'm not really after VN or VN-like games but I will try out LLtP. Looks good thanks for the suggestion.

Unfortunately, LLtP is a bit railroaded for me but it had a good concept.
