Yeesh, why does he even care? There’s already 1 nude scene in the game, is just trying to keep a monopoly on his characters’ lewds? I can’t imagine it’s because he’s a prude, since he’s making the game, but that doesn’t really make sense.

I think it's over attachment due to creating the girls with very specific ideas in mind. Honeslty if you play, you'll notice that the game bends the world to fit the girls, rather than bending the girls to fit the world as some of the ideas for them and what they do and how even the tree house works are a bit out of place in KND and bend some rules and concepts to suit them.

I wouldn’t really know what fits the show’s setting and what doesn’t, I’ve only seen a few episodes. I will say a few of the characters look like they should be in the teen category / not a part of the KND anymore, Numbuh 98.6 being chief among them.

Just as a heads up to everyone, the dev is a bit prickly when it comes to their game and girls. They have a bad habit of getting offended when someone makes NSFW of their girls and is over protective, to the point of not wanting to see even pin up’s and tends to ban people on their discord server for disagreeing with their interpretation of events from the show or characters.

And they have gone after a few artists before too for drawing sexual art commissions with their girls. And have sort of forbidden their team members from doing KND art period while working on the game.

This is just a heads up for any interested in the game or who would reach out to the dev. They are prickly and easy to set off and protective.

Damn, that sucks to know. Found this game on itchio ages ago before I even knew of this site, and felt like the dev(s) were pretty chill since they were making this for free and weren't even pushing for donations or anything.

Figured the reluctance to go full on with the sexual content was cuz of the obvious danger of "are these characters really old enough?" But then, at that point, why even bother with any lewd content at all and just make it a regular, non-lewd VN? I saw lots of comments on the itchio page asking if the game would ever have actual sex in it be downvoted without any real answers to the questions, so I figured that supported that idea. Though, if what you say is true, then I guess its less about that and more about the dev just being uber possessive of his OCs and not wanting to "taint" them or something, idk. Which is kind of a futile fight, ya know? Whenever a character is made and shown to the world, lewd art and shit is inevitably gonna be made of them, and probably not the kind you would want for them either. I've seen tons of gay characters be put into het art, and lord knows no matter how wholesome or young a character is some degenerate artists are still gonna make porn of them. Just something you gotta accept; Rule 34 and all that jazz.

It’s fucking weird though, because there’s a scene where Numbuh 202 uses a shower head to get off, and it’s fully drawn. Then there’s also the scene where the MC sees 87’s nips, so it’s clearly not an issue with nudity. If the dev had just kept it to the panty and bra shots I’d be able to believe he’s not okay with his characters in fully sexual scenarios, and that the game is an ecchi experience. But then you have scenes like the Showerhead scene, with the character in question fully in the nude masturbating. It’s just so fucking weird to get hung up on nsfw fan art or your borderline porn game. Like, what’s the point of getting pissy if you’re already gonna put them in risqué scenarios?

I’m gonna be real bummed out if the game gets kept at this point, where at most you’ll get some panty shots or the once-in-a-bluemoon shower scene.

That’s all there is, it ends after the Girl Scouts section. Maybe there’s a section inbetween there that you’re forgetting?

Honeslty i agree with all you said. it seems to be an ego thing a bit. The Dev at some point mentioned his girls were not 'fuck meat' whatever that means. And that he wasn't doing a game to appeal to 'Coomers'. Which feels a bit meanspirited when you look at some of the scenes in this.

Basically there is a sense of 'willfull misleading' as i call it with some scenes in the game where it basically...Well. let me put it like this.

I noticed an issue.

It's not a big one but like. Kinda been there sense the first build. But like. the issue i noticed is.

This game is more of a slow burn romance type of game right? Going by the dev's words. Foucused around feeling like the show itself and developing all the girls and their relaitonships with Anon/62 and taking it's time. Rather than sex stuff happneing.

Which is fine.

But i do feel the need to point out that 2 girls kinda mess with this.

98.6 and Betsy from the most recent update? As we see, are SUPER horny for Anon and like him from the start and want to get in his pants really, really badly. And showcase that openly....Which is kind of an issue as, both girls already want him, so there's no need to do relaitonship building. And the game kinda just has to keep contriving reasons stuff DOESN'T happen with them. Which usually ammoutns to 'oh they get interrupted!' Or 'And then this happens!'

Like it leaned REALLY hard into the idea something sexual was gonna happen in several scenes at this point. Both with 98.6. And in the closet in a scene you can find with the blonde girl Betsy.

if you want to wait for sex and want to do a slowburn romance thing or take your time, I feel it's rather counter productive to have several girls now straight up horny for your PC and ready to jump him if hes left alone with them.

Cause at that point you have to constnatly contrive reasons they aren't already having sex and or constnatly interrupt them, which frankly starts to feel annoying or cheap. No matter how well written the story is.

But i feel the meanspirited part comes from how it's like that thing where a piece of art is knowingly trying to mislead you on what's about to happen then basically lauphs at you/mocks you for even remotly caring as if it's mocking you.

Im sure we have all sseen examples but that's not teasing, that's being meanspirited. Aka 'Willfull misleading' Which is malicous in my opinon.

This is why I've tried to explain to people that at least in indie development version numbers mean pretty much nothing. They're basically just there to show if newer versions exist while having little to no connection to the actual state of the game or amount of content in it.

I've already play this up to it's current version and still waiting for the next batch of episodes to release. Now for anyone wondering are there any H scene's the answer is no, just a bunch of lewd jokes and softcore pics. Will there be some in the future, most likely but not for a while since the story is trying to build up to that like a dating sim game. Is the story any good, yes if your a fan of KND it stick's to the lore. Are their animations, no just stills but the images are great and in the same style as the cartoon. Over all it's a great game that parodies KND really well.

This game has a really good story, and very nice lewd scenes. It's so good to the point where it's genuinely disappointing that it's not going to get sexual. Kind of reminds me of the RWBY parody game. It didn't have sex for a while but had a solid story and good chemistry now it has both as is amazing. Hopefully this gets that someday of someone mods it with sex scenes once it's done.

A proposed followup series to KND was Galactic KND which would have followed Numbah One as he joined the Galactic KND after the end of the KND series. It never came to fruition.
