It’s pretty much been ongoing since the game was first launched honestly. They have kind of always been doing this. They also have a ban on people even doing pinups of the girls now in their discord server.

I've been in their Discord server since initial release and I can't recall that kind of stuff happening, Dev is definitely ban-happy if you start acting in a way or posting stuff he doesn't like, but I never saw anyone get banned for disagreeing with him about stuff from the show, honestly the only people I saw get banned kinda deserved it, to your credit the dev does love to mass delete Discord messages so those interactions could have just been erased and I never saw it.
As for the stuff about going after artists I certainly never heard of it, I don't wish to sound like one of those people who say "Source????" but it certainly would be better if you posted some evidence for this stuff since I've never seen it.

The dev likes to mass delete messages.Meaning he's bascially scrubbed the moments. There are several people who havebeen kicked as well who didn't deserve it such as That Happy Guy for example.

This could make sense, though when people asked why the game was full of lewd content anyway (back in the days of the discord pre-nuke) both main devs responded along the lines of "because we like it", and the guy was a known smut-fic writer on 4chan.
Plus they're paying their artists out of pocket so if any scenes were added post-release or in later versions, its probably because the main guys just felt it fit their vision for their project. (or people suggested them in the discord/4chan threads and they thought it was a good idea, that happened in the episode 5 mini update with 2 minis, the angie hug and the wheelbarrow one)
Sorry if I sound like im trying to win a dick-sucking contest, but I was one of the more normal active members of that discord so I was never under scrutiny of any of the devs' wrath, and therefore have a better opinion of the guys.
I see where your coming from. And it makes some sense. However i had personal conversations with the dev anondive over the game. He mentioned things like the games girls not being 'fuckmeat' And the game not being for 'coomers' and how he liked to wave his writing degree in others faces and rejected the idea of adding a cloatihng system/dress up/outfit system to the game per the reccomendaitons of another team member.
I am merley speaking from personal experince and my own opinons and what you can notice playing the game and it's habit of really leaning in on something lewd about to happen, then doing the 'And then someone else happens!' Or a 'And then they get interrutped!' Multiple times.
The creator anondive even bad talked other games and didn't want this game posted here at all as he considered f95 to be site only for porn games. Which is silly given the 'no sexual contnet' tag. But it does showcase that he has a low opinon on other games i think.

Yeah fair enough. He would always show his displeasure when people talked about other NSFW games and kinda imply that his stuff was always different/better. I never really cared since frankly I couldn't care less what one NSFW game dev thinks about content from another NSFW game dev.
It was also pretty clear from the year and some months I was in there that he kinda hated coomers, so I get where you're coming from with all that. That server's regulars were all sorta people that praised the game's writing first, to the point where anyone coming in for the NSFW stuff was sorta shunned or taught that you just don't talk about any of that most of the time (especially since the server got purged of all its NSFW stuff around 2021 I think).
I get what you mean about the purposeful misdirection, the writing and gags sorta lean into that a lot and from a general weg/nsfw consumer I can understand the frustration. When I first played the game I sorta got pissed that all the scenes were just light ecchi stuff, but on replays i moreso paid attention to the writing and enjoyed my experience more. If you're just playing it cuz you want an NSFW game about KND then you really should just look elsewhere cuz this game probably won't do it for you. Dive is pretty fuckin blunt about how he wants his project to be, but luckily its not like he's being a dick and then asking people for patreon subs. Even if the guy can sometimes be a blunt asshole, I still have more respect for him than guys that push out shitty "trainer" games with those anime 3d models and then ask for patreon donations so they can keep making their effortless copy paste updates.
Also yeah I remember him talking about the situation with this website. Kinda weird that he didn't want it here, and his only reason was "its free on itch so why put it on a piracy site" iirc (as if f95 doesnt have probably double if not triple the userbase of itch which would be easy promotion but whatever). It was always kinda clear the guy had a stick up his ass, but it was a bit too fun watching him shit on other members of the discord who were being cringe so I never put too much thought into it until now. Even then, I still am gonna patiently wait until the Act 1 finish update comes out cuz I do enjoy the project a lot. Hopefully time away from having to manage a server will lighten the guy up a bit.

THIS, is probably one of the best nsfw I ever played. Every single common outdated/redflag/negative aspect that 99% of the games in this site have, is NOT present in this game:
- Beautiful unique art instead of the overused 3D models with ugly smiles or 2D traced art over official art with weird eyes.
- Original music instead of the same 5 "royalty free music" results on Google
- Characters are ON characters and have unique and distinctive personalities and dialogs instead of the usual "writing doesn't require talent so I will write this thing myself" with cliché dialogs.
- UI isn't RenPy's default, the entire thing was made with effort and care. Remember that 99% of RenPy games here were made by people who only watched 1 or 2 RenPy tutorials and never again cared to make their game unique.
Etc... Etc... you will get it after playing it.
People need to learn that:

This website is generally for sharing content of a pornographic nature, so people are going to see it as odd when something is shared that isn't pornographic. Take into account the fact that people love porn parodies and the artist for this game is a well known porn artist, it's understandable that folk would be upset. On top of that the main dev sounds like a dick that both does and doesn't want the characters in porn scenarios.
As a side note, I personally believe one of two things is going to happen. Either the dev is going to cave and add porn to the porn game they're making, or they'll become a shut-in, nuke all social media, and abandon the game because they'll be tired of yelling at people, "THE CHARACTERS ARE NOT FOR LEWWWDD!!!"

im genuinely confused, there is one scene where the blonde engineer girl naked in the shower masturbating with the shower head's pressured water, and there were some scenes where undies and bras were revealed in the girls' clothing. So is this game a porn parody or not??

Once they started to heavily work on their second project it was announced the server was shutting down due to them not wanting to run it anymore and their belief it didn't serve a purpose like it used to. I wish it was still up, I enjoyed the people there.
