The game's name would be "Foster home for disabled fantasy girls". You'd be a battle priest that died during the war and discovered that there's no god before being resurrected. After winning the war you are left empty and decide that you'll indulge in carnal, thing you never let yourself do before due to your faith. But you can't risk going too crazy since the mansion you live in belongs to the church and they could take it away if you are not an example of goodness. That's when you decide to implement something you wanted to do from even before you lost your faith: Opening a foster home for fantasy girls that, after the war, were too damaged to take care of themselves, but now you want to build your own harem of magical disabled girls instead of doing it for pure reasons. Your first girl would be an elf that lost her right arm and left ear.

I love everything about this. Yes.
Thanks, is nice to get a response.Idk any coding sadly, so I plan to do as many assets as possible before looking for a coder who can put it together. Idk if I'll go for visual novel or for a platformer.

If you go VN learn ren'py m8.
Try your hand at it, the more you do yourself the better. It's not the steepest learning curve out there.

Yeah, I know. I'm trying tyrano builder and pixel game maker. Those are supposed to be really easy for people that don't know coding. But even on learning those I fail to focus and I get frustrated. I get distracted way too easily if the topic isn't interesting to me and have the hardest time. I'll keep trying, but if by the time I want to put the assets I haven't succeded on learning enough, I'll just offer someone to do it with me, even if I have to end up paying tons of money.

I like that story but, if there's no god, who ressurects your character?

I don't think people would care if you put disabled in the name, but I believe that there's loads of people that don't want to see disable people in a vn, but that's the way it is.

Tyrano builder is pretty good for what it is and works well for simple VN's, but the moment you start creating anything more complicated that needs flags and variables, it ceases to be the easy to use tool that people rave about. It has the most convoluted and awkward way of dealing with variables that I've ever seen. They're like an afterthought and you have to use all sorts of largely incomprehensible scripting to use them.

I tried renpy, got frustrated, tried Tyrano Builder, got even more frustrated, went back to renpy.

You are very wrong here my friend
cult classic

Do it OP.
On my visual novel the guy is a total pervert tho, unlike katawa shoujo that is more wholesome. For example, I plan for a scenes in which he takes advantages of the girl's disabilities, like putting cum on the food of a blind girl, spying on a deaf girl and stuff like that. It would lead to wholesomeness but in the process to get there it'll be very rapey in some ways. But tbh, Idc about making people offended, I was just wondering if it would get me in some kind of trouble using that word on the tittle.

You don't have to carbon copy Katawa Shoujo, do your own thing.
I have a character Emi who is modeled after Katawa Shoujo's Emi, though my Emi has both her legs and is nothing like what her model is inspired by. It's just a homage to one of the greats.

I absolutely love Katawa Shoujo, but when talking about porn games maybe the amputation fetish will not be that popular, hope I'm wrong, tho.

Also, didn't want to discourage OP, if someone is into amputation and the like, putting it in the the name is a plus.

The character gets resurrected cpr style. There's also magic, but is just the name of this energy source, like electrical energy or any other type of energy would be.

no problem. although I feel there must be a more context fitting name for it. disabled is a little 1980s. I mean a facility like that wouldn't be named that. it sounds a little bit like zoolander's "center for kids who can't read good".

so something more vague might be better. try to think how people securing funding for it would brand it.

then again, it does tell what it's about. and people who'll like it probably won't care what it's named anyway.

but if people get offended, it's gonna be from the other stuff. not the word 'disabled'.
