I will not play anymore, but I admit it is a good idea to create a skill tree and introduce new mechanics and choices regularly, to keep the player motivated and the gameplay less repetitive.
Some information about the game, for both the players and the developer:
- Gameplay is extremely RNG-based. You will find yourself saving quite often just to get an extra customer.
- Many perks skip the next day after selection. You pick a perk, the cutscene starts, Meric does something, and suddenly it's night. If you've counted the products perfectly to break even for the upcoming payment and now find yourself in the red because you chose a perk, you need to reload the game.
- Many descriptions and dialogues are LLM-written.
- Economy is set and scripted, it is no Recettear. Moreover, people buy only the newest products updated on the weekends, and the most expensive ones from the last week. There is no need to store anything; just buy the latest products as the older ones will not be purchased anyway.
