This is a solid 4/5 VN, BUT:

⠀⠀⠀The novel introduces everyone as dimwitted horny teenagers with zero personality and social responsibility, who are just down to fuck. Everyone talks about sex non-stop and constantly cracks sex jokes, it's tiring. It's also off-putting.
⠀⠀⠀MC's childhood friend in particular deserves a better introduction to the story. Forming some sort of year-long "cherry-popping" agreement with him, instead of simply pursuing the relationship doesn't make any sense. She's clearly bold enough to offer sex, so "shy" and "terrified to push for more" argument doesn't apply. She claims she stayed a virgin because she only wants to do it with MC, yet in the next sentence she says "don't get it to your head", because it will be business as usual to being just friends after the act. Is she bipolar? Like that conversation kinda destroyed her image for a while, but luckily author redeemed her eventually.
⠀⠀⠀Script and pacing suffers from frequent exposition dumps that serve the purpose of acquainting readers with lore and characters, which is not the way to do it. It's kinda irritating to sit through yet another Q&A session or very long dialogue with a girl, you know? There are also dialogues which I could only describe as yapping, that serve no purpose other than to pad the runtime.
⠀⠀⠀Everyone describes and emphasizes that Sisterhood's members are all supermodels way above beauty standards, yet most of them look fairly average (compared to the rest of the characters), a bit of a visual-narrative dissonance here.
⠀⠀⠀There is technically a glossary that differentiates proper "love interest" apart from fuck buddies, but IMO there are only two actual LIs: Evelyn and Amber. Everyone else you just have sex with, and that's fine, but they're not really a wife/GF material, more like FWBs
⠀⠀⠀The comedy is fine: not cringe, sometimes kinda funny when it's not yet another sex-related joke, but not "bursting with laughter" levels either.
⠀⠀⠀MC is often pretty awkward, I wish he wasn't fanboying or drooling as much for half the character cast, feels so degrading.
⠀⠀⠀Sex scenes have no animations and no sounds - sure, fine, but there's no gallery either (except for some random pictures), so you can't even re-watch them, so lame.
⠀⠀⠀Technically you can "turn off lesbian content" and sure you won't see related sex scenes, buuuuut everyone is still basically an open lesbian and ALL WOMEN are constantly making remarks about being (or wishing to be) "intimate" with each other. Honestly at times it feels as though these wenches are more attracted to one another than to the protagonist.

And yet despite these shortcomings (some pretty subjective) it's a good VN: visually appealing and interesting to read. Ember's both dads approve!

Excellent game. Probably most engaging sex scenes I saw in this kind of game.
Missing videos might actually be for the best as the scenes are much longer and engaging. Also scene variants are practically unique scenes instead of just 90% copy past or cut content as is the norm.

It has great graphics, likable characters, a reasonable spread of kinks & one of the only good superhero concepts in this genre.
Updates can be a little slow but always come with a decent amount of content.
Will definitely looking for whatever the dev does next.

This VN offers a novel take on the superpower genre, with a fresh and creative storyline. The characters are incredibly hot and well-developed, adding depth and charm. It’s a unique and memorable experience, especially for fans of the genre.

This VN is a superb discovery! The models are excellent, the story is interesting, the free roaming concept is good, and there are some great ideas for the adult scenes. In short, a good VN! It's significantly underrated on this site.
The MC isn't a complete idiot. Be careful, though, as the story gets a bit lost towards the end, but it's nothing too bad if the following chapters focus a little more on the heroines and the girls in the house.
A great discovery for me, hence the 5

This started off very promising when it was first released, but now I just find it's another run of the mill VN story, just with somewhat better writing and in a pretty cool world.

I thought there was great promise for this to be an underdog story for the MC at the beginning, and I feel that probably would've been a far more interesting route.

But nope, as per usual, the MC becomes the "chosen one, all ladies want him from the get-go" archetype that we have seen ad nauseam at this point. Gets sexual super powers so that all the women in the story want to jump his bones without any effort from him whatsoever. It has made for a very predictable and unexciting story, there's really no progression to be had here now.

I get it, this is a "porn game" at the end of the day, but I am tired of these stories where everything just falls in to the main characters palms. It's boring. If he had've been an underdog, imagine the progression and all the interesting conflicts that could've happened in this world...

But instead, he gets sexual powers pretty early on, gets a house full of heroines that all want to fuck him, everything's peachy! There's no obstacles or hurdles, no tension. I can see where this story is going from miles away, so I am not really inclined to keep playing.

It's a shame because the world had a lot of potential, but alas this IS a porn game.

Wow. Just wow. This game has everything I am looking for -aside a few kinks, which are not really relevant. The story is interesting without being shoehorned or taking too much time to get to the point, the LIs are lovable, horny and serve a purpose ; the scenes are very well thought, the plot is good, it makes sense and holds all throughout the 7 chapters I've been playing through.

I'm definitely looking forward to the next updates, I just can't get enough !

The only downside : no replay gallery -you can access a few pictures through the top-right corner icon, but that's not available all the time. This is my only complaint. This game is GOOD.

the plot is funny, the scenes are enjoyable, it is lacking just a bit in term of choices as it is unclear their weight in the story. Most of the choices seem only of the type "you want this scene? Y/N".

Well written and the characters are unique both physically and in their characters. The main character is stupid but in the way that's expected of 99% of protaganists leading for the story being pretty damn good.

The only issue, I would say, is a little whiplash from the pacing and writing at times. Sometimes, the story is SEX SEX SEX, and sometimes, it can be pretty dark. There are a few moments where the two clash pretty hard, and it's jarring.
Some of this I put down to the dev clearly not being 100% confident of the tone they want to set, but in later versions this is clearer.

This game is good. Really good. So good that it’s made it onto my very short list of games which fill me with excitement when a new version is released. Rock solid story, beautiful renders with unique models, great writing, and while there are no animations, this is made up for by the quality of the renders, the quality of the dialogue, and the amount of variation allowed when you’re not worried about getting a few hundred frames to run smoothly together.


The plot has clear inspirations from other media that many will be familiar with, such as My Hero Academia. A world where most people have a special ability with the MC being a late bloomer. The one he finally gets is not only useful but heavily sex-dependent. I can’t think of a better excuse to mix adult content into an otherwise serious fantasy story. What’s important is that this is believable thanks to excellent writing. The reveal, the discussion, the way other people’s powers are sometimes sexual in nature as well but by no means all of them, blends seamlessly into the world.


I was honestly surprised to find this series with a relatively “low” rating of 4.2 out of 5. I just finished trying out a 4.1 rated game that began in 2019 and it was outright abysmal. Poor writing, poor story, poor animations, stock footage, tons of mental exposition every other line… it was a mess! This game is head and tails above that one and most others on this site and, in my opinion, deserves a seat in the top 100 at least. The sex scenes work great not really in spite of the lack of animation but because of it. Unless you’ve got a couple dozen 5090s running in tandem, animation takes a long time, and chaining decent scenes together often requires trade-offs, such as limiting the interaction to just two people. I can count on one hand the games that have strong unique animations that involve three or more people, and they’re almost all in the top 20 or so adult games in the world. Because Origin Story has no animations, the author can delve into group sex early and often (as the story demands) without spending an insane amount of money and time learning how to create high quality animations that, even if they were perfect, would still drastically reduce the amount of content per release and would barely improve what are already sex scenes that are, pardon my French, hot as fuck.


In addition, the story involves a lot of people with some kind of super power which is weaved into the sex scenes. For example, one woman can make a clone of herself, which you make use of, but then the person with you joins in, and then the woman who made the clone joins in, and suddenly you have a very hot and taboo foursome going that would have been hell to animate, but even without animations is one of the hottest scenes in a visual novel I had seen in months.


The characters are unique and believable. Specifically, they don’t all sound like the author. They have different quirks, ways of speaking, different ways of telling jokes, and they’re not merely one-dimensional caricatures. When I mean the writing is really good, I don’t mean “For an adult visual novel” but good writing PERIOD. The story is in the early stages but is interesting on its own, and characters interact with the MC and with each other in a believable way. Sure, numerous characters have special abilities that make fun interesting sex, but it never feels cheesy or unbelievable because the way it’s written is just so convincing!


Great sex, great story, interesting super powered weirdness, and a great sense of humor (“It’s not a fucking boss fight!” Had me laughing out loud) and an absence of any flaws that I can see make for one of the best games on F95. It doesn’t hurt that the author is present and honest about his creation. That he’s not good at animation and that (and I agree wholeheartedly) no animations are better than crappy ones. How many stock Honey Select or DAZ games have we played where every sex scene is a fully animated and boring as fuck? You won’t find that here, and that’s a good thing. Characters are sexy without all looking like super models and believably written such that you’ll quickly end up caring about them. An easy 5/5.

The game is interesting in its details, and has a decent bit of porn logic going with it. But with the way powers work, it kinda meshes well.
However, while the setting is interesting the story itself falls flat mostly due to the characters feeling a bit empty and the MC being a dunce. So we have a rich environment wasted in just another porn romp.

Things that stood out:
The Good
- The World seems like a realistic world. There is a lot of color to detail what this world has gone through and why it is how it is.
- The game can be quite humorous
The Bad
- His dick keeps changing sizes, in Chapter 1 it is horse size, then made smaller to be large but realistic, but then it keeps changing sizes. IDK what the author is doing.
- The MC is an idiot. The best way I can describe him is, if you ever wondered what type of person sees an arrow fly by his head and then 10 seconds later says must have been the wind. This guy.

It's a good harem game.

The only complaint that I could really make is that the writing can drag on at times. The biggest annoyance for me was the multiple times where the MC would retell an event the players played through to another character. Often times, it's something that just happened, which makes it even more annoying. They can just do a narration like "The MC talks about the incident" and then go into the actual banter as they talk about this information, but no, the whole event is recounted. That's just one aspect of it, but in general, the writing drags slightly in many spots.

Another thing I could have done without was the artificial Q&A sessions. It's pretty much never immersive to have this kind of thing.

But mostly, this is a well made harem game for sure. There is wish-fulfillment, there is power fantasy, but there is also a generally well constructed world building and an interesting enough plot progression that ties the sexual aspects directly to the core plot. And for a vanilla game, there are quite a variety of kinks and set ups for sexy times (taking advantage of various superpowers). The writing for the sex scenes are also quite satisfactory, with a healthy mix of spoken dialogues, spicy narration, and overall length to the scene.

Pretty standard Ren'Py game but it's a pretty good one, especially at this point. The writing seemed like it was going to be insufferable but to my surprise, it was actually pretty solid for these types of games. It obviously isn't reinventing the wheel or anything but the characters are likeable and the story moves at a pretty restrained pace. The humor doesn't appeal to me but it isn't nearly as loud or insufferable as some other games. Wish the game had a gallery though.

PROS:

1. Visually looks great, world and surrounds are nicely fleshed out
2. Models are impressive looking overall
3. Writing is not bad, structured well, but is clearly written to fit the younger crowds mentality.
4. The sandbox approach taken here is not too bad, at least not like traditional sandbox games.
5. Game music is decent and ambient/other sounds are present but not many sexual sounds, just the odd swallow one
6. UI and interaction with the world is nicely detailed and done well, also the small task or quest objective is nice and subtle.
7. While I am not overly fond of the characters always, at least some of them are fine. I am glad to see the story and intrigue kick in later down the line.

CONS:

1. Characters are a bit too fickle for my tastes, including the MC, the way they act and talk and are generally flippant about most things. Maybe this is because of the world and superpowers being common place, so insane shit is just another day scenario?
2. The interaction button, arrow during free roam is a bit too light and can be missed easily. Also free roam should ALWAYS have a quick bar or option so the player does not have to walk around trying to learn a places layout. Not sure why devs keep doing this shit...
3. Shallow and superficial characters only fixated on sex and losing their virginity or appearing naked and publishing it to the world, annoying start to the game IMO.
4. "Animations" if you can call them that and there are really not many, I think I saw one, are more a few stills than a smooth animation.
5. MC disproportionate dick is just stupidly large, that for a game that has mostly characters that are in proportion and good looking, WTF is with that dev? Note, in some renders, his dick is larger than in other, so consistency is not 100% Whats more is he seems to have his dick hidden in some inter-dimensional underwear where it resides when not using it, giving a whole new take on the term "grower and not a shower", more like bullshit but ok...
6. Character profile button is so small and obscure its easily overlooked. Another thing that could be nice is to actually make the characters have a small icon or pic with the name, maybe add a scroll option for space. I am sure many of us are not great with character names and would maybe want to not need to click through each name?
7. Limited sexual (H-scene) sounds are a bit disappointing and only having the odd "swallow" sound is just not sexy and immersive enough which IMO is a wasted opportunity, sounds really push the experience.
8. Updates are not very regular, maybe 3 a year? Sadly they lack significant content that progresses the plot in any meaningful way.

FINAL THOUGHTS & SUGGESTIONS:

• Added to above, the general lack of character self respect, particularly how the MC and his friend simply make a "fuck pact". The fact that they so indifferent or "unphased" if you will by that, tells me that this particular avenue of story is bullshit. People that act and are as casual and easy about punching their V card or having sex would undoubtedly have done it before for no good reason other than just wanting to for the heck of it. What has stopped them up until this time? Same with the MC, he is not a troll and beats off so much that its impossible to imagine him a virgin same with his friend it seems. So I am not convinced of this particular point. It all feels a bit "desperate" and unbelievable, straight up porn logic.
• New tags should be made for non-traditional sandbox, as the old way is crap, but this way is not too bad, tolerable and not a complete time sink.
• The game makes light of sex in a way that is just stupid, case and point, how the MC is often naked, has rubbed one out, does so often, he is about to screw his "not girlfriend" and everyone knows, sees and is completely fine with this like its the most natural thing ever. This is total horseshit and its so flippant and normal in this game that I am actually gobsmacked...The dialogue is so shallow and stupid...FML
• For a game based on superpowers, I must say the MC still looking for his is actually stupid, his superpower is obviously being part horse as he is hung like one...its stupidly big and honestly he would not fit that in his trousers, but these are "ACMI characters" for kids so guess it just works eh? I mean you see the MC flaccid and that is normal and he could get a decent hard-on but nope, the guys dick is as big as his forearm and as long as most of his arm...didn't notice any other bimbos around but yeah, moving on...
• Infrequent, but more troubling are lack of content updates. This is frustrating and the dev seems to be creating more "intrigue" which is great but ONLY if you actually progress with on-going intriguing plot points like

  These are the main plot points or ones that are a bit more interesting, yet the entire Chapter 7 shows fuckol content for any of those. Simply creating more branches in the story and not progressing any of the more interesting plot points in the slightest...WHAT THE HELL?
• More kinks and tags would be nice, sky is the limit and superpowers being what they are, why not go all out?

Gripes aside, this is not a bad game, it has plenty going for it and worth the play. The story seems to become more interesting by the last few updates, around v.070 the plot thickens with a bit of a cliffhanger. As such I moved the rating up one star for quality content being produced.

The developer and their team area clearly talented and have a good game here with interesting story, I just hope that they will actually progress and not cause players to lose the thread/threads and subsequent interest in the game. The small amount of content with regards to the various plot points unfolding is worrisome.

I don't usually leave reviews unless the game is really good (for the most part) or a total waste of time. Thankfully this is one of the better ones.

Cons first since there aren't many:

- Zero opacity dialogue box makes it VERY challenging to read parts when the background is on the lighter side, simple and easy to fix so hope that is implemented quickly.

- Too much detail/exposition thrown out at once!!
Calm down with the deets man, a person can only absorb so much new info at once.
A little advice from a fellow writer if the dev reads this- try to give such info out in a more organic way either via dialogue b/w characters or the world around them. Takes a bit of imagination but it brings the game to the next level.

Pros
- GREAT casual/conversational dialogue! It feels completely natural like something you would hear from an actual person. Plus it suits the various personalities of each character which is not easy to pull off.

- Great render quality! Not much to see, everything looks top-notch there.

- Some of the smoothest writing and transitional flow ever which makes the plot and various scenes come together as a cohesive story rather than disjointed scenes (something many big titles suffer from).

- Characters are very well written and don't do anything out of character just because the plot asks for it. Another thing that can get lost easily.

- Extremely smooth transition from normal dialogue to sex scenes. The buildup makes total sense and none of the adult scenes seem forced or outside the purview of the plot (seriously, your writer deserves a big bonus)

- HUMOUR!
Some of the jokes and quips are next level, just like the flirting which made me take notes (not kidding). It's not easy to make humour in an adult not come off as cheesy or cringe but you've done it.

A very good game, the girls are super hot, the lewds are entertaining but what's best the dialogues are great and fun, and there seems to be planned a very interesting story! Moonsong and Lady Steel are super hot, plus there's a hot stepmother, and I usually don't dig the genre. Definitely recommended!

Decent game ruined by unacceptable jokes and trolling
The game had a great potential with above average rendering, story, character designs and personalities. Sex scenes probably one of the best in VNs from dirty talk to avaliable options, that allows great deal of variability.
Now to rating justification: the game tries to troll certain demographic, which makes it unenjoyable to play. If it wasn't for these elements I might have supported the game myself, but in its current form it's just a waste of potential.

Just played Origin story, hope to see more from this game, good story, nice pace, nice girls and superheroes, Funny moments. Good different characters. Some Easter Eggs in this too. Had a good time and interesting powers. Hope it doesnt geht abandoned. 5 of 5 Stars

This has been a very good AVN so far, I just finished up to chapter 6. The dev said in the notes section that he's already got the story written out to 20 chapters and from what I have played so far it a very interesting story. I like how the women are all different and it's not just a bunch of gigantic boobs and butts all over the place and they look more like real life. The storyline is actually interesting and keeps you interested in what is or could happen next.

While the beginning seemed rushed, the overall story is enjoyable. The buildup of superpowers is satisfying and explained.

I liked the women involved in this story. The sex scenes are really nice.

Can't wait to see what else will be in this game.
