It was probably a scam if nyaa removed it. Uncensored version cannot be made if they wont decide to sell this anime to outside of japan (or someone leaks it
). Also people can use software to remove censor these days but it does not work well.

no i mean i actually saw it and it is an uncensored version of it along with the official cover. you probably right tho someone probably leak it. since i'm pretty sure it is official release for outside of japan. the size is too big so i didnt keep it on my harddrive. but yeah japan do sometimes release uncensored version of hentai anime and game but only for those outside japan.It was probably a scam if nyaa removed it. You got uncensored version of Otome, and instead of uploading it somewhere or stashing in offline usb hdd drive for backup You did delete it ?
And I doubt highly that there is unc version of Otome.

that's why I'm asking / wondering about this unc version. On original Nya I never seen this unc. Checked other places also like bakabt / hentaipros (known to have unc version) and didn't found anything about it.

All i remember is that it's still raw and it doesnt say in the title that it was uncensored. The size is quite big around few gb, the quality is like that in blu ray. Back then i was just looking for one that really have bigger resolution (by thinking that it might be the one who have bigger size than any other otomedori torrent in there) then accidentaly found it.

All Hentai movies are drawn uncensored and the censorship is added in post production, there is always held a master disk with the original uncensored version in case it is wanted for foreign markets, so the fact that there has been an uncensored version has been released may have been a leak or a stolen version.

Used to think same but I'm wondering nowadays. Reason - arrests that were done for JP people involved in leaks (can't recal what it was about exactly). Seeing also recent uncensored material it's clear that censored parts are restored by "third party" (they have different strokes / quality / then rest of the picture and usually look out of a place).
Current JP law states that You can't poses unc material for distribution, with companies do exactly that.
I'm leaning toward unfinished details of censored areas, aka. no genitalia.
Think about it - hentai is a niche, income is not great - as a company would You waste time to draw parts of image that will be later on covered by mosaic ?
I think that they just draw overall shape, no details, and call it a day.

I read it in an article a couple of years ago, there are several hentai's where you remove the mosaic and there is a lot of detail. I can't remember the article in question, however in the UK the law was quite similar and the US companies shot scenes where you couldn't see the penetration, however it was just for the more prudish markets. Adding mosaics when you are making the final cut is easier than having to redraw the whole thing for the export market. The JP law is for distribution in Japan rather than release outside.
