I dunno why ppl are getting their panties in a bunch, but I like this game thus far and don't want to see the dev abandon this game so here's my 2cents.
Lots of ppl are throwing around the term NTR too lightly and/or using it with too broad a stroke, mind the pun. I've played through what's available twice (Mostly becuz I personally love this particular art style). Based on my understanding and what I've seen in the game... the Dev has it correct in that there is NO NTR in this game. I don't like NTR myself so I'm rather sensitive to it as well. What is in the game has been tagged, Cheating and Blackmail. Perhaps, some people are just skipping through the dialogue, only paying attention to the lines spoken during H-scenes but if you actually paid attention to other scenes you'd know that both LIs that are being coerced into doing sexual favours for Damon, are doing them only because of that. Also, given that the story is fantasy based (ie. Succubus, magical powers) Damon is giving off a "sweet" smell that drugs the women.
Dev, I hope you don't listen to those who criticize you without properly engaging with the content and continue on with your vision. There are people who do appreciate what you've done thus far and look forward to future updates.
Just a point of clarity for those who are wondering. In my point of view and based on my understanding of the definition of "NTR" 2 clear facts must occur for NTR to be true. Party A (let's say the individual doing the cheating) and Party B (the individual who is being cheated on). In NTR - Party B would be aware of, and be in pain when finding out about, Party A's indiscretions. Party A would also need to want to continue the cheating knowing that they are hurting Party B. In this story I see neither of these things and to the contrary, if we were to use Ms. Helen as Party A, she does not want to continue, and her husband Party B clearly knows and doesn't care AND he is the 1 who setup the situation and is in return benefitting from her pain. (Actually, I'd go as far as saying that makes him a Cuck and an asshole.)
Thing is NTR and other sub-genres similar to it, all seem to have lines that somewhat blur into each other. It's not easy to write a plot that skirts the boundaries without know where it clearly ends. I do not envy the dev's road ahead, but I appreciate the efforts made to try and do something creative and try to create something that people will want to support. Thus, I can only say, don't let the negative comments get you down, just create something that you, yourself would enjoy, knowing that at the end of the day, it's a game. It should be fun. If the Dev only wants to make money, I'm sure they'd just make 1 of those 1 day, lack-luster, AI-generated games and be done with it.
Anywho, rant over. Thanks for wasting your time and reading (if you made it this far).
