Because the creator is open to implementing sexual or NSFW content. She did it for the first game, thus why the sequel is here (and it's been said that it may possibly have NSFW content, but it hasn't been confirmed, since she wants to focus on finishing the game right now). Ironic that people talk about others sexualizing minors, since by their logic, that is what the creator is doing by being open to making NSFW scenes involving them. We wouldn't tolerate it with real minors, right?

So, to that person, maybe, hear me out, the characters are not minors but characters. If they were legitimately anything likened to a real minor or even portrayed realistically (on an artistic level) you shouldn't even be engaging with this thread or want them on this site. It's very icky and inappropriate to pretty much accuse someone of inappropriately interacting with minor. Please do better.

I keep wondering exactly how tall the Our Life MC and Love Interests are. I'm on my 14 or 15th playthrough and it occurred to me that either we're all extremely short in Step 1, even for 5th graders, or the adults are all extremely tall. The two instances that stick out the most is when you go to school for the first day, and Darren goes to greet his mom, but he hugs her legs. Second instance would be when meeting Qiu's mom, she gets down low to the point her chin is near her knees when greeting you. It's the same even if you select tall as the selected option.

If I remember right in the Walks moment after catching the nuts Qiu mentions being the smallest of the boys, but if you make the PC small than you say that you're even smaller than him

as kids LMAO, I think all three of them even out into average in Step 3... (qiu averages out in Step 2, though Renee might still be considered tall in Step 3... her height isn't confirmed yet from what I've seen). I think Shannon is pretty tall for a woman, she's def taller than our Mom but I dunno. I think the adults are just tall rather than the MC being extremely short, especially since you can say you're tall and be around the boys height so you're just tall for a 5th grader. You saying this now makes me think about how SHORT Tamarack must look LMAOO.

With Qiu's mom I'm pretty sure she just did that out of respect to us. Meeting us eye-to-eye and giving us the same equality she gave our mom?

I like to think qiu is about 1,68 in the final step and their friends still point out their height lol

Super cute, though I wonder if these will just be peppered into certain set answers, or if we'll have an opportunity or two to actually reply with basically any emoji we want for a reply and maybe get a unique reaction based on what it is? I kinda doubt it given how many there are, though it'd be a cute one-off thing.

I think basically how it'll work is the emojis will be categorized into certain groups or something, and depending on what you reply you can have your choice of the appropriate emojis to use, since we probably wont have much freedom to say exactly what we want.

I have faith we might get an update on Halloween. It's Qiu's favorite holiday and GB has a penchant for doing stuff like that (for example, Cove's birthday is in November because that's when the first game released.)
