Those type of people are so damn annoying. Mind you, I bought the game when it was on Kickstarter and I know A LOT of people on discord/here also did that, besides the fact that some even discovered the game by this thread. I don't think any creator has to like/support/be silent regarding the piracy of their content especially indie devs but the white knights just make me roll my eyes, do they want a cookie for it? Ugh.
I'm so happy I'm not the only one who feels this way I was playing the game yesterday got to the mixed dlc and mc had a fight with Baxter and Darren it's like the game tries to force mc to apologize even if they don't say anything bad about those two during the fight which is so odd to me the only choice that let's mc not be happy is one that basically says that mc still wasn't happy about it why couldn't we not accept the apology or only accept Quis and not theirs it's extremely problematic the dialog says they don't speak for a week but that's not what I want mc should be able to express and say they don't accept the apology it's like alot of our choices don't matter in the dlc episodes for how they end.
Darren and baxters small comments in these episodes make replaying a nightmare because they irritate me to no bounds so I agree with you as somebody who gets angry easily I don't feel like my character is expressing what I want not even me at 10 would forgive some of the weird comments these children say.
I just hope step 2 is done better because if they keep forcing me to be passive when characters gang up on mine and expect Me to be passive/ AND APOLOGIZE TO THEM 24/7 this is gonna get old.
(I keep playing the fight instead of the library because I don't find the library entertaining at all but I haven't tried getting them irritated then doing library I wonder if they fight there probably not but I'll see)
this is one of my biggest gripes about this game as well, its redoing what is the common criticism of ol1 which making the mc very passive even if you choose to be very aggressive, it forces you to be silent. Look at the market moment of ol1 and the baxter step 4 dlc those ones really bugged me. I dont want a repeat of last time

Is it just me does the game keep giving "an exception has occurred" in step 2 preview skiping alll the option dialogue that you can pick
Sounds like just you I played through it and didn't encounter that bug I'm on android so idk if others had trouble.
I like the content we got to see but man I'm so impatient to finally get to play some more scenes when we age up I think the only new thing we got from that section was more optional dialogue
The tags says futa/trans protagonist, is it a mistake ? It does not strike me as a game with futa elements

The protagonist can be trans (either a trans man or a trans woman, or even nonbinary. You can also choose to be cis of course ^.^) ! No futa elements, futa and transgender just share the tag haha
Mc can be a trans man/woman starting step 2
or nonbinary In the beginning and so forth if you choose to do that
The futa part is your MC could be intersex and there's one line with Tamarack at the beginning of the game that acknowledge it
Damn they did crank up the jealousy a lot. I remember when you could for the first time pick it and it was barely noticeable but now...
