Based on the script, this playthrough should allow Lena to keep her relationship both with Robert and Mike even after becoming Ian's girlfriend, and I'm not sure it's intended outcome...

Yeah, because Mike is already in one. I honestly don't know why she would refuse to be in a relationship, except the desire to mess around with a lot of people as Jeremy isn't interested in a relationship, even though he pretends to be in one (which makes it worse that Lena slept with him). Mike is already in one and the only available guys that seem to be single are douche-bags. Unless she is starting to like women more?

I think this has nothing to do with Lena wanting to get into a relationship with Jeremy, but for the following two reasons. First, she is developing BBC fetish and so now casuals with Ian is okay, and in a relationship she is supposed to be faithful, but she won't have enough of Ian and won't be able to hold back. Secondly, Jeremy is a close enough friend of Ian's and even though they sort of had no commitment to each other up to this point, she realizes that Ian will obviously not be happy to know about such an incident behind his back that they weren't even going to tell him about.

Well, I think Mike makes sense. Lena only breaks up with him if it is a serious relationship. For Robert it seems to be a reward for helping her with her luggage.
What doesn't make sense though is that this also happens if you go for a serious relationship. Ian can eff Cindy, Lena can eff Robert after they committed to a relationship and stop "experimenting". So basically both Ian can immediately cheat on each other Lena but none of them he acknowledges it. That at least seems like a bug to me.

When the hell is the flag to trigger Ian and Perry having a major falling out going to get triggered?

This is getting ridiculous: in every playthrough I have Ian treat that stuttering simp like complete crap, telling Cindy to go ahead and have a beer, not standing up for Ian when he gets into a fight with Robert, mocking him every time the game lets me, etc.

I keep waiting for Perry's "relationship value" to hit the point where the flag for Perry to kick Ian out will occur, and it never does.

Perry is the very definition of a "Scrappy:" his stuttering in an annoying storytelling gimmick, he's a sexist misogynist ("Have you p-p-pounded any p-pussy?"), he's a toxic friend.

I can't believe he's still in the story after 9 chapters.

What is it going to take to get him removed from the narrative? Fucking Emma? Cucking Wade?

Yeah, based on the script, I think Eva was working on the second opportunity to have a scene with Robert/Mike in this chapter if Ian was the one to welcome her back while at the same time realized that Lena has to break up with Robert / Mike in order to commit to Ian. But the branch where Lena met with Robert or/and Mike before committing to Ian is for some reason not accounted for. She never even comments on it. It's like she completely forgot that she needed to break up with them.

Although I wonder how ian_lena_open factors into this. It's never referenced after it's set to True. I would assume Lena would want to keep seeing Mike at least if she intends to experiment. Otherwise, if Robert and Mike are gone, it only leaves Louise, and it's hardly fair that "playing around" means that Ian gets to experience more girls but Lena can't experience more guys (unless the Jeremy path will be expanded with Ian bringing him into their relationship). Axel is not in the same league with any of Ian's hookups and would probably lead to Ian being cucked than feeling like Lena's main partner.

Correct me if I’m wrong, cause I haven’t read close to everything neither here nor on Discord, but I can’t remember ever seeing anyone complain about this? What I did notice, was the speculation about what kind of shady way the original Billy had gotten his money, and drugs seemed to be the most common guess. If Billy from the beginning was supposed to be a spoiled brat, it makes sense from a pragmatic point of view to change his skin colour, because of the character tropes and stereotypes relating to that. (That those tropes makes us think that a black guy in a story like this must’ve gotten his money by selling drugs, while we don’t think the same when that character is white, is obviously a topic in itself. But it’s hardly Eva’s fault that those tropes exist.)

I support your guess when it comes to how Billy’s path will turn out though, and that Eva probably wants to differentiate it from GGGB. If so I think that’s a good idea; for most of the kinks in Eva’s games, they’re part of a bigger story and doesn’t “just” feel like kinks. The pool party path in GGGB felt as it was the other way around; it was just an execution of the BBC kink, and the story was secondary.

In ORS I think there’s a danger of the same thing happening. Jeremy’s personality is little more than a walking dildo, and Lena’s attraction to him is almost exclusively about his BBC. Eva confirmed in the latest Q&A that there will be more BBC options for Lena down the line, and if Billy’s change is a result of Eva deciding that she doesn’t want the BBC content to just be a straightforward execution of the kink (and in the process give more content to someone else instead… like Marcel?), I think it’s a good idea.

That’s also just speculation though, and I find it very weird that Eva hasn’t commented on the change in some way. Because from what we so far know for certain about the reasons (nothing, that is), it’s still a big WTF moment. And I’ve seen far more dissatisfaction with the change than the fact that Billy originally was just another black guy who probably would’ve offered little more than a big dick.

That doesn't really explain the v9_luggage. It is as if EvaKiss thinks the breakups were already handled at the luggage scenes which obviously they can't be.

It doesn't at all. And it definitely should! I remember that that (Ian effing Cindy without realizing he is cheating on Lena) was already discussed here some time ago.

It would make more sense if:
if ian_lena_couple and not ian_lena_open ditch Robert
if ian_lena_couple and (not ian_lena_open or lena_mike_love) ditch Mike
So she ditches both if the relationship is not open and also Mike if Lena is serious with him.

Or maybe EvaKiss just wants to simplify the field so some side characters get cut if IanXLena happens. Then it is an oversight not to ditch them. But then it is weird that Mike only gets cut when lena_mike_love.

On valid topic of game tho, I'm really excited where it will lead that Ian talks Cindy into cheating on Wade. Originally I focused on Lena being giant slut, but I really like Cindy if she starts to be a cheat, in my opinion that just makes her mega hot

Interesting discussions! But we have to remember that keeping all relationship permutations straight is problematic for Eva, it is easy to overlook something. Just take Ian. My personal favourites among the girls for him are Alison, Lena and Holly. Just with these 3 it can get complicated.
Alison and Ian have history and feelings for each other they did not knew they had or did not recognise before. They can be in a comitted relationship, a non-comitted relationship, a comitted relationship with willing threesome exploration or a comitted relationship with cautious threesome exploration. Currently Ian can still pursue Lena and7or Holly on a couple variant paths. Even Cherry, Cindy, Emma and Minerva. Some of them at once or in exclusion.
And this path maze gets larger with Lena´s options. She can pursue Ian, Robert, Mike, Axel, Jeremy, Lousie, Holly, Stan and Seymour, partly at the same time or exclusive. If Ian and Lena are not in totally comitted relationships, the various "side relations", esp. fuck buddies, are many. No wonder that Eva needs time to straighten this out and still might overlook one or two variants.

I'm thinking here that episode 10 is still a long time to wait and there is nothing to do anyway, so you can revive the thread. Therefore, I made the top most hated characters in the game. It will be big, because there are a lot of annoying and unpleasant personalities in Our Red String! I have never met so many people in one game who pissed me off.
From least annoying to most disgusting:

10. Alison. I don't understand what's wrong with this girl. She is very intrusive, to the point that she almost rushes at Ian. Likes to interrupt other people's conversations and be the center of attention. Too focused on her problems, judgmental (Moment with Perry discussing trans-porn). In sex, she kills the mood and overreacts when Ian tries anal or cums inside her. Clicking on the fire options in Alison's scenes is not always a good idea. And yes, why does this lady look like a MILF at 27? I always skip Alison for Jeremy and prefer the more relaxed and easy-going Cherry


9. Wade. This guy just burning his life. He is still young, but already looks like a 40+ man who is tired of everything in life and his interests are beer while watching football on TV and drinking with friends in a bar. Dude! You have a top girl, just S Tier! Wade is just degrading and doesn't deserve Cindy. He looks like those marginal unshaven men who live in a trailer. Have you seen his beer belly? His jealousy looks flawed, he shows his complexes of a miserable and weak person. Wade, you will lose Cindy, I guarantee you, hehe. He will lose her anyway. Do I hate Wade? No, I just feel sorry for him. But it is better to stay away from such people in life - they pull others to the bottom with them.

8. Louise. Louise is just not very smart, naive and blind girl who likes to judge others. The most common. It's just ridiculous how she can't see that Jeremy is cheating on her and doesn't even want to trust her friend! You have been friends for several years, studied together in college, Lena says in plain text that “Jeremy cucked you, Louise!”, And she answers “I trust him.” Okay, you trust a guy you've known for a couple of weeks but not your long-term girlfriend. I just had satisfaction when she came running in tears “Lena. You was right!"
I don't like how she judges Evie for her depraved lifestyle, but she quickly finds new guys herself:
- "My boyfriend left me", tears.
-Next day: "This is Jeremy, my new boyfriend. I'll be jumping on his black cock all night. And no, I'm not a whore, the whore is your friend Ivy!" So much hypocrisy
Oh yeah, how jealous she is if Lena spends more time with Ivy and puts in toxic comments about it. Louise is the kind of friend you shouldn't see every day and take in doses.

7. Minerva. Many people are familiar with this situation, right? Extremely toxic and overbearing boss that you have problems with. Luckily, this problem is cured by a good hate-fuck. By the way, in the Remaster, I lost the opportunity to pass the Minerva line, although I performed the same actions as in the original version. Was she cut? Or maybe you need to go the other way? 6. Robert. A miserable and notorious egocentric loser who pretends to be an alpha. He tries to be cool, but it only takes one rejection from Lena and he reveals his frustration. Dementia and courage - I understand the motto of this guy. He solves any problem with a fight in which he loses, and the funny thing is that one evening he can get in the face from Axel, and then from Ian. He is even more disgusted when he first uses Lena for sex in a restaurant and only then tells her the news that she is fired. He is not interested in Lena as a person and is needed only to satisfy lust. In my playthrough, Robert gets a well-deserved response - Lena uses him as a sex doll for several times and abandons him after an incident in a cafe. An eye for an eye, Robert goes to the trash can. There was such a picture in the thread, I request it.

5. Agnes. Or Agatha. This old lady looks like an evil witch. (It was the Agatha all along ). Another rich elitist for whom people are garbage. I really did not like the mood with which she imposed on Lena a joint shooting with Axel. And she looks at Lena as a commodity that can be used. Nothing more. Better avoid this woman. The expression on Lena's face says it all - distrust of Agnes.



4. Stan. The remaster didn't help. Stan is the same creepy incel and beta. Creepy Stan. This is the moment when I agree with the naive silly Louise. Maybe the female instinct for perverts worked. How else to call a guy who jerks off to your photos, which he took himself? For a photographer, this is an act of a bastard - in this work, trust between the model and the photographer is important. Stan betrayed that trust. I think he stole Louise's panties, not Lena's cat. Oh yes, this bastard went even further - if he is not taught a lesson, he spies on Lena having sex and ... jerking off again. Eh Stan, Stan ... a complete lack of desire to change and stay in the comfort zone. As one white-haired girl would say: “PERVERT! CALL SECURITY!”
Well, at least he's not as ugly after the remaster.

3. Perry. He doesn't look like the mayor's rich son. Not the same image at all. How was this guy raised by his parents? This character exists for one purpose - to annoy the player. It whines all the time. Offended. Breaks Jan and Lena's date. He forgot his keys! Damn clown. Ruining parties and ruining fun. He blabbed in front of Lena that Ian had sex with other girls. And Perry is very greedy. He spared a can of beer for Cindy. Mayor's rich son regrets $5 for a friends! A shame. Seriously, there must be a solution for this guy to “Send Perry to Somalia”. And even if she does not dream of getting Emma.


2. Axel. Lena's ex-boyfriend is something I wouldn't wish on any girl. Control freak dictator, domestic abuser, manipulator and stalker. Also, a hypocrite. He tries to completely control Lena's life and at the same time cheats on her. Why does he even need a serious relationship if this guy can't control his dick? To satisfy his sadistic tendencies in controlling another person's life? This scene in episode 9… caused the most discomfort and understanding that this would not happen in my playthrough. Axel is a sadistic and control freak, Lena is his slave in this scenario. Lena's Will points burning down to zero and no matter how many of them were in stock confirm this theory.




1. And here he is, the main villain. Seymour Ward. The oligarch, small business killer, blackmailer, abuser. At first, it may seem that this person replaces Arthur from GGGB. But it's much worse. This man is the main trouble of the city in the game. He buys out and bankrupts businesses with Parry's father, the city's mayor. He pulls the strings like a puppeteer, deciding the fate of people. For example, the situation with Lena. He fires Lena from his restaurant, blocks her opportunities to work in the modeling business. Seymour does this with one goal - to get Lena for himself personally. And he does it like a maniac. He threatens to ruin Ian and Lena's lives, blackmails them. He even threatens to block her Insta and Onlyfans (I think he is overplaying, social networks are too big a fish for Seymour, and as far as we know, he is just a city oligarch). This is a terrible person and I can imagine what is going on in his head. The scene at the end of episode 9 with Seymour is the second one, after Axel, that causes dislike. Of course, I'm interested to know how things will turn out if Lena signs a contract with Seymour. For players who choose this option, Seymour's true face is not revealed in all its glory. I will leave this option, but it will never be canon for me. My canon - Seymour Ward is sentenced to 25 years in prison for corrupt deals, blackmail and extortion, sexual assault. Get ready, Seymour. The vacant Harvey Wahnstein job is waiting for you.
Approximately such a list of antagonists turned out. It's not very good to start with an anti-rating, but there are really a lot of characters in the game who need to wash the dice. Next time I will post the Top of the most pleasant characters. If anyone has any feedback, I'd love to hear from you.
