I search but didn't see any indication that your choice of topic matters in the book writing.
There is in the song writing for sure.

Do you know anything about the importance of the choices for the book ?
We don't know yet as we haven't gotten so far in the story that the book is actually done.

My guess is that for every choice after the genre you're graded on how well your choices fit with that genre. Then that combined with your wits attribute will say how good your book is, and whether or not you'll win the contest / get published.

I've just spot that Holly react to your choice whan you're talking with her in the parc.
It might give you an hint, but after that you cannot change your choice so...

You can ask her directly for writing advice in one of the café scenes too, if you have enough relationship points with her, where she will talk to you about how you should approach the theme you've picked.

So this is Axel's place?
who are we going to see there first? hm... Lena? Cindy?
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
I very much doubt that we'll be seing any ordinary scenes without any of the two protagonists. That goes for both Axel+Cindy and any other combination of NPCs. The exception of course being if Ian and/or Lena are present without being involved in the scene.

The only realistic way we'll see anything of Cindy at Axel's place, would propably be if 1) Ian doesn't do anything to support the Wade and Cindy's relationship, 2) he still doesn't go after Cindy, leaving Axel with a chance to try his luck, and 3) Ian and Axel become friends and Axel starts sending him pictures, just like Jeremy.

That doesn't mean it won't happen, of course, it's just not likely that we'll get to see it, since the game is played from Ian's and Lena's viewpoint.

Hello ALL !
I'm hooked by this game and have a thousand questions ! :)

The first one: The quality of Ian's drawing, we saw at the nude drawing sequence, is link to what?
I cannot figure out why It can be good or messy.

The second: Will there be sex scene shown whitout any of the 2 MC involved, except when spying of course !
For example: I'd like to see Cindy been broken by Alex.

That woulb be all... for the moment.
1st. It's tied to the "Wits" stat, if Ian's wits is 2+ then the drawing will be good, otherwise it will be messy.

2nd. There are voyeur scenes (protagonists spying) and some after the fact scenes (i.e one of the protagonists sees a video of other characters fucking). There haven't been any scenes yet where the player's perspective is taken outside of the protagonists though, so unless everyone starts feeling like recording some porn everytime they fuck, there will probably be some scenes you will only hear about.

It will matter, we just don't really know exactly how yet. Holly can give some advice during her dates with Ian in chapter 3, so we already know what the best combinations for the first two choices will probably be:
Fantasy + Revenge
Sci-Fi + Chosen One
Historical + Call of Duty

Anything after that is just speculation for the time being, Ian can get some general advice from Holly early in the game but it isn't very precise:
Fantasy - Avoid clichés
Sci-Fi - Explore dark themes and philosophical implications
Historical - Don't get experimental, stick to tried and true

I'm hoping the Ian book will be more open to combinations than what Holly's advice might suggest. Mix'n matching the correct order can be fine, but Seymour strikes me as a guy that won't mind a bit of experimentation in litterature.

The ideal for me would be that Ian can become a succesful author in several ways:
1. Through making contacts in the writing community. (Holly route)
2. Winning the contest. (Correct theme combinations/High knowledge)
3. Impressing Seymour. (Being inventive/High charisma)

Redlolly, who as far as I know is a friend of Eva, developer of has an interesting game mechanic called "Meanwhile", where you get to see what other characters are doing (and even assume control of them briefly) while the main story is happening. I don't know if that would work in a game that already has two MCs, but could be worth considering...

Nice no wonder the art style is so similar.

I've just got through the latest update and I tell you the number of routes and different situations that you can see or even miss is something I enjoy about this game the replayability really is something else. And I'm really digging what happened with Cindy in this update certainly if we pursue her plus I thought it better for Wade to run off that gut a little

So, i know Jess being bad or not depends on your choices, but isn't it implied that Ashley becomes a slut?

I may be misremembering, but i'm sure in one of the earlier chapters Ian can jerk off to porn that has a girl that looks exactly like Ashley.

Maybe that was a just a little wink at the audience perhaps?

I guess Ashley being slut is the canon ending of GGGB since name of the game also kind of points towards that ' Good girl gone bad'.
